Interesting watching the action these last few weeks. Like musical shares. Don't be out of your seat when the music stops.
Agreed in. Here in SF it's pretty clear that these guys have a great deal of potential. Their post IPO rocket was a tech fiction, but so many are. Just as that was overvalued this is under. I think a reasonable place to expect the PPS to settle this summer is around 55. Nice premium if you can get you some under 40.
Nothing on this board but buzzards and tumbleweeds. CCXI is a well-kept secret, but I'm thinking not for very much longer. Much buying activity a few months back pushed us back to where we are now. Smart money is now in and waiting.
I wouldn't keep any open sells on this. I've been taken out when the rocket takes off before. I hate it when that happens.
Their motto is "Speak to a Lawyer, Not a Receptionist!"
Guess Howard is manning his own phone. I'm sure that's a sign of a solid firm.
Thanks! There is the silver lining, for sure. My original basis was $3, so the bill was large, but I guess if I had to pick my problems, this wouldn't be a horrible one to choose.
I'm probably the only one who wasn't paying attention and only now am realizing the effect of the inversion. Did I "sell" my shares at the pps of the day we became Irish and buy them back a split second later? I have a big tax bill that I hadn't anticipated, but if my basis is now in the teens I guess I can live with it.
If any of you could confirm this for me I'd be in your debt.
Nice metaphor. Weren't the armed forces supposed to incorporate an aspect of hybrid into their rolling stock a long time ago? Once upon a time it seemed we were positioned to leverage a move like that but I don't think it ever happened and if it did it certainly didn't involve the Q. Most logical place to do work like this would be in USPS stock, as they're probably the largest single-agency fleet on the road and don't have to be concerned with PR over trading IC for something else in machines that carry soldiers to battle.
Not that GHG reduction needs to be exclusively vehicle-oriented, but as far as this arm is concerned that would be a logical place to start. Bottom line, though, is that the EO is an unfunded mandate and not worth the paper it's printed on so it's likely not going to happen any time soon if at all and even if it did the Q would be as likely to get a piece as a snowman in July walking down to the store to pick me up a six pack of Coors lite.
