I have no problem with Spheris's disclosure practice on news.
There's a video out there where he talks about his heavy responsibility as a CEO of a public company.
I follow his Twitter
I do believe they will issue key info when called for. He's seems to be a sharp, thoughtful guy.
The flip-side is he issues info all the time and gets accused of hype.
Don't look for him to be your crystal ball, because he can't....... by the law.
Either you take your best shot and it pays off, or it doesn't. That's the Market for us average retail investors.
He's not out there dumping his stock every chance like some other CEO's and Mgmt teams.
I view it similar to this:
Hard working, high achieving athletes don't broadcast all the work they're putting in.
They understand it will show when gametime comes.
For me, I do believe in manipulated technicals even here
I consider it as key news events (almost binary like), or lack there of, that can destroy them, but for brief periods.
We have a .75, .79, and this .90 area working well together at present
The 200 is approaching and showing it's first signs of maybe wanting to flatten a bit
The wrong news however could destroy all this and put it into new lower ranges. But positive SPEX news could do the opposite. If positive, Shorting combined with profit taking on up moves will keep technicals in place on standard positive news. But unexpected positive news, as in a lucrative settlement, will likely minimize the Shorting manipulation.
But it doesn't seem the lack of news can manipulate it any lower at this time, due to the nearing of possible events occurring anytime I'm thinking.
Was this move up today enough to trigger another Rule 10b5-1 Sale dump for Perlman, Berger and the rest of their management team ?????
A 40% move at the high is huge for VRNG and one these fellas usually capitalize on ASAP!
Maybe their selling is what drove it back down to the almost .55 cents.
Would they do it?....Oh yeah!
Did they do it?...We'll have to watch for filings over the next couple days
If they didn't, it's only because of Boies restrictions in my opinion
Well we'll see?
As for today, well, VRNG's pattern has been exactly the same for 3+ years.
But I do know one thing. The last time there was this type of % move up (probably 40-50%), Perlman, Berger, Cohen and the rest of the Executive Team were selling fairly material amounts as quickly as possible under Rule 10b5-1, right along with the Shorting........That's A Fact!!!
No filing thus far
If they didn't do a 10b5-1, just another sign of Boies control established with them in his deal, because these guys are about themselves and that's it!!
Perlman, Berger, Management???
Why the change of heart in electing not to dump shares under 10b5-1 this last 4th Qtr.....Nor on the "40%" Tuesday one day pop?
It's completely unlike them character wise!
In my view, the ONLY explanation can be Boies cutting them off.
Nope, Don't buy it, They were still selling at .96 for gosh sakes!!!
And along those lines then, the potential must only be around $5, cuz that's where they really jumped on the selling quick!!!
Someone once said here that it was the "arrogance" of this leadership team in defending these patents, starting right from the top, that had them exercising very, very nice salaries, very, very nice bonuses, stock option grants, followed by regular selling of their stock under the guise of Rule 10b5-1.
Well, if the events of the last 4 months don't humble these bustards, nothing ever will and they'll probably #$%$ to make more money elsewhere at the expense of shareholders, because they know how to do it, and it's lucrative!
If they had any morals, they would start giving money that they legally stole from the company, back to the company!
What a great job these guys all have.....fail miserably, but still make millions!!!!
Complacent, Satisfied, and very very Comfy financially when they go home at night cuz no matter what, they have nice paychecks to cash, nice bonuses awarded to themselves, and stock to 10b5-1 any time they like.
The thing I wonder is in most cases, aren't bonuses and stock awards performance based???
Are you just conveying that there will finally be a time to see positive things occur?
Or are you just saying be ready to take profits quickly and sell with Shorts establishing a position to run it back down ?
I agree with you in that I think TA is still relevant, in this continued downtrend. Although it could continue lower, TA has helped me maintain patience from higher numbers before testing the waters. If support is not held, then its going to go establish new support, until the time comes to test that again, or until the binary events occur, which will blow the TA out of the water for a bit
"A binary outcome" - in the stock market and business world is an event that has two possible results, one being positive, the other negative.
They've already done it.
And they would get away with it if not for recent ruling that "may" present an issue
Whether or not it goes to the pink sheets will depend on upcoming binary events…so we'll see?
But it looks like the chances are not very good with you here
Love the honesty…Ur not alone!!!
Maybe a NE win will change everything!
IMO...Not even a real offer
If SPEX has the potential many of us believe, why would they offer $1.10 ???????
The only reason a meeting was held was to formulate the statement
