    What planet are you from?

These guys gave a huge cash flow problem ....they only pay a low dividend not because they was to only because eliminating the dividend would cause the share price to go even lower....there is no way they are that foley to borrow money to pay an increased dividend

    Think about it

you are holding the bag because just like Asherman who bought Shaw with very little due diligence you do not understad this business and how Shaw operated . by the way we are in eraly 2015...don't you think there will be more delays coming??? They still have to deal with mechanical and electrical installation...more delays and also watch Sumner at SCANA.

very poor compnay with little clue

i sure hope that none of you are buying this becuase they paya dividend....these guys are running through cash and the last thing they want to do is borrow $$ for a dividend. The small dividend they are paying is only because some funds will not buy a stock that pays no dividend per their rules

this is a low margin reimbursable business which is nice to have but not all strategic. This in no way drives the business at CBI. It really does not matter much if they lose a few contracts

    Starting to smell like ENRON.

too many people on this message board are way too negative.

This is NOT ENRON. Sure they have some challenges on the nuke stuff and the LNG slowdown but longterm this is an important compnay with exceelent process technologies and a very good fabrication business which includes large tanks, pipe fab etc.

To me this company has huge long term prospects...it bares zero resemblance to ENRON.

real simple answer for you....The big interest in CBI over the last year plus that caused the share price to the mid eighties was based upon: Huge backlog driven primaily by the two nuke plants sites and .the perception that LNG terminals would be huge business. Both of these areas are an imortant part of CBI.

fast forward ...the nuclear stuff has issues and the LNG stuff has much lower business due to low natural gas/oil prices

Whatever happened 5 yeras ago is irrelevant to what is going on now with CBI

You obviously spend a lot of time watching this. I wish you were right. having watched this company and attended a number of investor conferences over the last number of years I think I have a pretty good idea of this company. First they got hit hard for their very poor due diligence of Shaw (and you are wrong...trust me CBI did not fully understand what they bought.)...the new issue with low oil/gas prices is a double hit for anyone in the oil/gas space...in the case of CBI who actually has a very good resume for LNG terminals this is a big hit....I unfortunately have to agree with the street...there will definitely be a slowdown in this area....that even affects FLR ...a company that I own shares in and think very highly...it is what it is

CBI will be a work in progress over a period of time....for you "hope is not a strategy"

If you listened to the CC and look at their financials you would see that after the Shaw buyout CBI increased their GOODWILL by about $1 billion. Why do you think they have cash flow problems????? All from buying Shaw...if that does not reflect poor due diligence what does???? By the way the issues with the Nukes only gets worse not better...

Guys....very tough situation....first CBI had to deal with a very poor due diligence....that part is on therm...now we have low oil/gas prices and the street is over reacting on that....in my case I am buying FLR and XOM because I know that they will come back with no problem...BUt in the case of CBI some more issues before they come back...not sure what their true low price is...just happy I am watching and not part of there problem

You sound like you are hoping for someone to buy CBI....BE CAREFUL....HOPE IS NOT A STRATEGY

No company that has any common sense will buy CBI.

BE CAREFUL IN WHAT YOU ARE HOPING FOR

I could not disagree with your observations any more strongly

Yes, CBI did a very poor job of due diligence buying Shaw and getting into all of the many issues of that poorly managed operation. They will eventually get the nuclear stuff written off and move on. The rest of of CBI is a good company especially the Lummus part. I don't know how low this will go but this company is not as bad as the perception
