G-d forbid it should act like a normal stock when some one makes a bid for a big stake that should be reflected in the pps, but NOOOOOO not SPNS, not us, #$%$%(*.

    R,
Checked it out, certainly seems that FORTY (GB) is shopping SPNS at first $9 and now $10. Come to think of it that's what he does. 5 or so years gets them on their feet and then sells. MGIC can't be far behind. I think FORTY might be the play here, as well.

    Clown,

    Thanks for the link.

Couple of very interesting tidbits, didn't know A owned 46.6% #$%$umed they owned over 50 but must have been effected with the secondary.

Also, no mention of all the $ Dori has in the bank, Have to love his confidence that come through so strongly in his "excuses" and how many stocks were $1 four years ago on the bals of their #$%$ and now at this current strong postition? Can't say enough about the job D and G have done here. Bravo and Primo.

What in the world do you make of that last sentence: "A company that cannot be improved is of no interest to investors like the Alpha Group." It seems to be that SPNS is all about being improved unless they feel that Dori can do it better? Still makes no sense.
ot, can you please send me Fuj's contact info at my other e address? I am in his neck and would like to catch up with him if possible he has gone silent here.

    CC,

I know G likes to build and sell but $9 seems awfully low. Can't really tell anything from article, what does the "reflecting a market cap of $420m mean"? Why mention any price, if they could not agree? Does it mean that the 420 was what Alpha thought it was worth, don't get it, or the point of the article at all, except it does tell us people are interested, which you can't tell from the pps. Can you?

And why the need for secondary if they want to sell? Or does that tell us, like with MGIC, and the secondary a couple of years ago when he thinks it's overvalued he does a secondary? This is getting very, very confusing.

The money was not needed for expansion, dividends, nor for capital reasons. In fact, Israeli companies are severely limited to how much they can make on invested funds. So it really makes no sense at all, unless it is for acquisitions. In which case, patience will turn out to be a virtue. (hopefully, sigh). BB
