The lawsuits are but another nimbus cloud on the horizon of a stock in the midst of a horrific thunderstorm. The stock was way overvalued, and it will likely fall harder than it should.
This isn't the bottom, IMHO. GMCR was priced to perfection and then some. Calculate 20 times earnings and see what you come up with.
$40 to $50 sounds about right to me. However, if they can paint a better picture on the next call they could right the ship and support the stock with buybacks. However, you could be close to right on 25 in the worst case scenario. It did, after all, overshoot to $17 on the last disaster. SODA fell from near 80 to high 20s a few years back and again from near 80 to near 17 recently.
Good grief; None (0) of the fundamentals justified the climb from 80 to 154. That was all hype based on KO and KOLD--pure speculation. Yes, big money will come back, but at what price?
KOLD is a disaster. The smart move is to sell everything here if you haven't already. and wait for the dust to settle after the next quarterly report. I suspect you will be able to buy this stock much lower. Meanwhile, enjoy your iCoffee.
I disagree with you Jack. The company is not worth 40, but it's WAY oversold right here. I expect that you will see it rise into earnings absent bad news before the fact. I'll buy more sub 20.50. Additionally, it won't take much of a beat to get off these levels, IMHO.
...not enough pull back to be worth it to me. I was looking for about 22.65. But, I have plenty:)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
