This is a tactic used during a big accumulation phase. News usually follows.
If this video got air time, NWBO would trade at $100.
If you short a stock at $5 and the stock goes to $2, you make $3. If the stock goes above $5 (let's say $8) instead of buying the stock back and losing $3, you exercise the warrant you own, paying NWBO the $5/share(great for NWBO) and you have covered your short position and broke even. NO Profit.
The problem with this strategy: maximum profit is $5/share if shorted and the stock goes to zero. If the stock goes to say $30, the warrant holders had the right to buy shares at $5 ( thus a $25 profit) but instead needed to use the warrant to purchase back stock they shorted. So they missed a HUGE profit and made zero! Also paying margin interest while holding their short position. Makes no sense especially in a biotech that any day can partner or be bought out at enormous numbers and on its own merits be triple digits.
Juno 4.1 billion, XON 3.3 Billion. ZIOP can move up 4x from this price or $36 !!
will be happening when they team up with checkpoint inhibitor !
Yes, I see that. I believe they have lined up many conferences leading up to ASCO. Plenty of news along the way as well.
I see ARNA moving to $24-$52
$17 price target on NWBO
Frank, that statement was made from a doctor not involved in trials and a ton of MD Anderson doctors just signed off on their last poster presentation at SITC plus UCLA doctors..What are you afraid of with NWBO? We should root for both. If you came down with brain cancer are you hoping you get the 20% that CLDX extends life for an added 3.3 months over Avastin or for years with NWBO on the 80-100% it has amazing results on.. UCLA has put out videos onDcVAXC ! Watch them.
