Hey Golfer, don't really give a hoot if you believe me or not. I don't live on message boards. I posted something because it was part of my discussion with someone who was clearly in the know. He has a long history with ETAK and was part of the initial raise. So, my message was to get the technical opinion of folks on the board who's opinion I respect technically (sirius and garp), not you. So go blow. To the rest, he was also super high on the new hire (Armand?) and made a comment about multiple POC's within Vodaphone. We talked about how decentralized they are and how Armand was a big get and would be a big help in these other countries.
His comment on VS was that this data vs roam issue was solved about a year ago and has helped VS get productized (his word). Roaming required a license, doing it through data doesn't. This is what will get that part of the product (not sim swap) all around the world. His position was that VS was the reason stock first went to $3.50. I always bought for the mobile telecom side and recurring revenue, but happy to hear he was so jacked about VS. Common, this was a referral from a friend in the business, so I would feel kind of weird posting his name on a message board, sorry.
He had no insight on AT&T, but brought my attention to SVV comment that the revenue would be replaced in the second quarter with the new deals. I own too much of this, it has been long and painful, but I haven't lost faith. Let's hope this is the year we get it turned around!
Follow the stock closely and learned something new recently after a talk with Dawson James. Evidently Validsoft had problems 2 years ago because they couldn't get Roaming contracts with all the carriers in order to do cell phone authentication. I was told they figured it out by going through the data feed and don't need those. Now we are starting to see traction with the solution and it can go anywhere in the world. This may be why Visa never followed through at the time. FYI. Might be nice to get an update on Utiba, as there was some real hope that it could be meaningful. Also, anyone hear of any progress on Saudi Arabia? Long and strong!
