I guess we're the only ones who think this is a real company. It's not plausible and hardly possible that a real company could trade at this valuation for this long. When is the delisting? Why hasn't it been delisted yet?

I think this is still in Go mode. Nvidia is in the midst of a multi-year run due to their GPUs blossoming into and across several strong growth areas of high tech. I expect another beat with affirmed or raised guidance. I could be wrong. The company is clicking on all cylinders right now.

Nice to see NVDA getting into a console other than their own. While it won't move the needle much any time soon in terms of revenues and earnings, it could 2-3 years down the line. And along with the Shield console, it will also prove, once and for all, that Microsoft and Sony are making a mistake by cutting corners and using AMD's clearance rack materials for their systems instead of NVDA's superior chips.

curious how you accidentally bought $37 calls.... you're out of luck on this one. Thankfully, options don't cost a whole helluva lot and your losses will be limited.

  • They are a Tier 1 partner with Nvidia.

    LOSER ALERT!!!

  • Nvidia's fortunes are looking better and better. Facebook uses NVDA for its cloud and is a partner with Oculus VR. NVDA heading to $50+ as its earnings continue rise over the next few quarters. After that, who knows, this thing could really mature and become a powerhouse with no end in sight to the good times for longs. Shorts, not so much.

  • Good grief, for all the talk that the CEO does, you'd think he'd have a decent balance sheet. Who cares if you made $400 million if you're sitting on $30 bil in DEBT????? They'll likely implement a divvy here, but with that balance sheet, that's certainly not appealing. Can the stock go UP? Yes. For sure, it could double on fumes and hype with ease. But my strategy as an investor is to stay AWAY from debt pigs, no matter how great their goods, services and commercials are. I'll remain a consumer only.

sounds like #$%$. Is there only one "Earth temperature" or climate? In fact, the planet has numerous climates, all of which are subject to change on a moment's notice due to volcanic, oceanic and solar activity. I learned in the 7th grade that the Earth would warm up until it eventually burns up. Should I be shocked that it's warmer today than 35 years ago or that certain regions may be experiencing "record" temps?

Speaking of leaving the party early. I have a tragic story to tell.

Like anyone who has traded and invested in stocks, I have made and lost a lot of money along the way. I've been at this for 20+ years and I know some of you a lot longer than that. While the big losses on junk stocks hurt, the biggest regret is having sold a stock way too soon!!! STUPIDEST thing I've ever done, by far. In 2007, after having made then lost a lot of money during the DotCom boom/bust, I was in search of a great stock to load the boat on. I was after a "$5 to $25" stock. I found a company that had recently received a huge order that would provide backlog for years to come, and was seemingly undervalued at the time. So I load the boat at $8. It immediately fell to $4s. Instead of bailing, as I had done so many times in the past, I doubled and triple down. I had built a huge position in this stock. I contacted the IR dept. to ask why the stock was getting crushed. He said he had no idea and it was uncalled for. I was cared shitless that this would be another tragic loss to $0....like every other penny stock I had ever tried to catch a flyer on.

But it began to turn around slowly, and within a few weeks was back at $8-$9....Having doubled down in the $4s, I was well into profit territory, and been burned too many times NOT taking profit, I gobbled it all up, hoping for a pullback to get back in. The pullback never happened. The stock will touch $40 this week.

Fricken' unbelievable. I had the golden ticket and let it go for a measly 40% gain or something when I could still have it and be holding a 6 or 7 bagger and counting. With the amount I poured into that, I'd be nearing retirement right now. The stock? EBS. My golden nugget that I found with hard work and diligence that I let go at the first sign of brilliance. UGH!!!!

    Sentiment: Hold

No doubt, bigonnvda. I've been scratching my head over that for years. I guess it's always been the case....in the late '90s, it was QCOM to $1000! It doesn't make sense but you have your hyped, over-loved stocks,,,you hit the nail on the head with TSLA, AMZN, NFLX, which get valuations based on perfect execution and projected numbers 5-10 years out. What if we valued NVDA like that? Should it be at $440, based on projections of what 2024 will look like? lol

I think Tesla projected only 65,000, no? Wow. Good news for Nvidia. The future is bright for this company. Intel probably leaked the rumors about AMD to #$%$ NVDA into a license renewal deal. In any case, Nvidia is playing upon its strengths across all platforms without reliance on Intel or anyone else and can withstand the loss of Intel revenue. The GPU is in its glory days right now. It won't last forever, of course, but for now Nvidia is in the sweet spot of technology as a premiere software, hardware and service provider. Their products are both the brains and the blood, the lube, needed for high level computing.

jen knew then what he had...what he had helped build which was about to blossom. He didn't want to give it away on the cheap to a rival! Great move by Jen....it shows that he's a visionary, not just a guy looking for a big cashout. He is probably not interested in any buyout scenario today, either. BUT....sometimes offers come whether you want them or not. A hostile takeover is very unlikely but a sweet offer is not out of the question. Wouldn't a Qualcomm, for example, be interested in having NVDA as part of their portfolio?

When is NVDA going to pass $35?

    How about 3:30pm? : )

yep, NVDA is on fire, a market leader, popping on a day that the rest of the market is very weak, and AFTER the amd/intel rumors! The loss of the Intel licensing revenue was already built in. Now, the recognition of the strong growth areas is taking over. If any licensing revenues or litigation awards come, this will be at $50 in no time....months, not years.
