I guess this was the non-material event you interpreted as a given. Funny PR didn't even mention it....must not be materially important. Decision date Dec 14/15
It bottomed 2 days ago but could easily return back down. So far nothing to support SP till ASH in Nov.
Imet was given orphan drug status in EU as it was in the US. Anne where did u come up with priority review in EU for Imet?
Either way we will never know cause PR keeps shareholders in the dark and potential investors away.
...maybe the last shelf is being exercised for funding a new acquisition. Chippy spent all of 2015 saying that was his plan. He even registered a new shelf last Oct.
Not the Russel index rebalancing.... Gern hasn't been able to get much above $3 and stay there in over 3 years. (ASH2013 an exception where SP remained above $5 for almost 2 months)
Followed by a needless PO exercised and the now in hindsight "pre planned" FDA hold giving time for Chippy to cut a deal without having to push the trial agenda any further soon put a kibosh to any real SP appreciation.
Here u sit below the Janssen deal sign up back in Nov 2014.
There was a similar spike in vol. last year during Dec. followed by a 50% SP retraction. If there was any fav. news coming I'd expect a higher increase in SP over the coming days. Still remain a skeptic.
It's called circling the drain....a familiar pattern prior to the final flush. Don't squeeze the lucky charm
Well that hasn't happened with the SP dredging the bottom at less than $3 for the last few months. Unusual increased vol this time of year reflects the index's rebalancing however Gern hasn't made it for lack of maintaining SP threshold of $5 and above during last 3 years. Maybe next year.
Curious Joko/Larry what happens to ur short position when a company declares bankruptcy? Thanx in advance.
The Apollo offer was bfr. there were two other contenders which have since backed out. Not sure if the 50-55 buyout is still on the table. Read the Wall Street article.
Joko's taken over from investor's relations. It's taken any liability off their shoulders so that they're free to frolick in the CA sunshine doing fun things instead. God bless America!
At least in the past 2 years Meip went up to hit $8.33 Oct 13 2014
Gern has lost more than 60% of it's value since hitting it's pre ASH high of $7.79 in Nov. 2013
Another false profit of Joko...mocking God IS your mantra. "In God we trust" to coin a phrase
