Good Morning Dilbert.
Any insightful comments about why your previous lump of a stock is down $3 in a month? Down some more this morning I see. Can't wait to hear your genius analysis.
I'm not so sure about that. Initial reaction was obviously very good but now we are quickly giving back most of those gains. Now just up .83
You can't even find the right board to post on Dilbert. You have so many aliases I think you've really confused yourself. Obviously doesn't take too much, huh?
When was the last time this company did not having an earnings miss? Seems to happen pretty much every reporting period though my Olive Garden and Red Lobster are packed every night including weekday's. Unless they are giving the food away (which by the bill I get I'm sure that is not the case) they couldn't possibly be losing money at those two establishments.
I'm in for some more shares at the open and will try to dollar average out of the stock before years end. Just don't see this stock exploding (up) anytime soon.
The obese come in when Olive Garden runs its all you can eat Pasta Bowl. It's really disgusting to see my profits being literally eaten away from these 500 pound women.
if the overall market sells off which it should going into a Friday close we could be down by $5-$7/share by days end.
This is all the fault of the obese who live for the All You Can Eat Pasta Bowl promotion.
I went into Olive Garden last week with a neighbor. They were (and still are) running the All You Can Eat Pasta Bowl. There were two sisters there..one of them must have weighed 400 pounds and she was the "lighter" of the two. The heavier sister was stuffing bread sticks down her mouth at the rate of 12 per minute. The other "lighter" sister was trying to wipe the Alfredo sauce off of her mouth so she could place another order for more pasta.
Now do you think we made any money off of the Bertha sisters?
Here is a great example of what you just stated.
Recently went to our local Red Lobster for the All You Can eat Shrimp Deal. The waitress kept asking us if we wanted more shrimp (to take home) and some more biscuits. You know that is not what they are trained to do but she was only interested in her tip so she was glad to let us take home whatever we wanted. Mind you this was not leftover food but a brand new order she was going to place to let us take home.
And for those that are curious no we did not take her up on the offer and I did tell the Manager there of the situation. Would I not have done the same if I was not a shareholder...probably not.
I was already in at $48.50 and yes am seriously thinking about dollar cost averaging if I can get in again around 45.00.
