JC Penney will suffer more than other retailers simply because they so desperately need to grow their sales to fortify their chances for corporate survival. JCP's midlle income customers will be under particular stress. This does not bode well for JCP's chances. ☺☺☺
Don't worry, penneyman. JC Penney has fired thousands and thousands of customers recently. (Bet you wish you could win them back now, don't you?) ☺☺☺
Too much has changed. Shoppers, mostly women, don't have the time to seek out TUES out-of-the-way locations and hunt for those possible bargains. They are pressed for time. Beyond that, they don't want to shop at depressingly gloomy bare-bones stores. Shopping for them is an experience and they want it to be a positive one. Many don't even know what a Tuesday Morning is.
I just don't see the draw for TUES shoppers. The prices on most items aren't low. The stores look awful. Instead of true door-buster specials they have the same ceramic heaters that everyone else has got front and center in their ads. Merchandise is hit or miss. You can't go to a Tuesday Morning with certainty of finding a particular sort of good. There's very little apparel in the store. Lastly, TUES's locations are inconvenient. With little debt, bankruptcy won't come any time soon but TUES will be a perennial underachiever.
'Why does everyone hate shorts? We are all here to make money and if you dig deep enough JCP looks like a horror story straight out of hell."
JCP's holiday selling season will be so horrific, Stephen King will have to a novel about it. ☺☺☺
You just can't help those JCP longs. I think they're all masochists and they enjoy taking a beating! ☺☺☺
Please don't confuse JCP longs. They enjoy their make believe utopia. ☺☺☺
JCP is ship of fools. They don't know and they just don't care. ☺☺☺
Yea, maybe two or three years down the road. JCP hasn't got that long. Look for a bankruptcy filing mid-2014. ☺☺☺
The Titanic never offered coupons! ☺☺☺
You gotta love them JCP baggies. They can't win for losing. ☺☺☺
