    Bottom Line

    by sgby51 Jan 24, 2015 12:39 PM

Brock, your post reads like a Windstream written advertisement. I don't believe you would have posted this if you were in the loop on day to day operations and the mood within Windstream. It would be awesome if it plays out in the way you wrote. Good luck to you and Windstream.

  • The sad part is that he truly believes the fantasies he writes.

Your degree from Walmart is letting you down. You have been huffing paint and gasoline way too long . If you WERE as smart as you try to pretend to be, you should be able to understand what I meant. I truly pity you.

Please, do us a all favor and actually read and digest what was written before posting. I was taught what a politican "should be" by my father and in school. The bumper sticker indicates that he believe they are no longer public servants but self serving criminals. For a good number of he idiots in Washington, that rings true.

So true. There's a bumper sticker on my father's truck which states, " A politican should serve two terms. One in office and one in prison". Today's mess in Washington makes it so true. I was raised to believe that someone elected to office was a public servant, someone to put the welfare of their nation ahead of their own interests and to represent the majority's position. Our nation has been hijacked by extremists who are hell bent to force their views upon the rest of us. The thumpers want to force their beliefs and lifestyle on the nation and the progressives want to save everyone at the expense of others. We are either way.

Slug, I am not a really a fan of either side of the aisle in D.C. They are slightly different shades of the same color. Both have screwed this country up. I overstate the liberal view here mostly to yank the chains of the tea party wingnuts. I vote independent and I go back and forth. If the Conservative politicans would simply attempt to take care of business and quit trying to legislate people's personal behavior, they would get more of my votes. I want a small goverment. I love the ones who say that the dems favor big goverment and the gop is for small. B.S. They both love big goverment. Our economy is out of balance and both sides are presenting extreme solutions. What happened to moderation?

you didn't answer my question and I gave a very simplistic response. I am not here to give lectures. Our three biggest deficit prez's have been Reagan, Bush jr, and Obama. Two of the three are GOP but you blame dems (liberals) for our country's economic ills? Bush jr. took over with basically no deficit. Clinton left the house in good order. again, all you want to do is blame liberals.

The gop has been preaching the same message since Reagan. It hasn't worked yet. Name one positive aspect of the vast wealth migration into the hands of a very small segment of our population.

Give the largest tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations and they will invest their money creating new businesses creating jobs. (very simplistic) but for this audience it works. You don't put the vast majority of spendable wealth into a few hands and expect the economy to grow. You need lots and lots of consumers with income to spend to keep our economy healthy. The stagnant wages for the middle class for past thirty years has brought our economy to this point.

Yep, the gop won a majority of seats during an election with one of the lowest turnouts in history. Kudos to the gop for mobilizing their base. We can count on their rabid insistence to force trickle down economics (Never has worked) and their version of morality for the next year, setting up a landslide victory for Ms Clinton. It's become the Koch brothers party.

The GOP has controlled congress since Obama has been in office. The Dems just lost the Senate. Seems to be that you are confused concerning your facts.

It can't be both ways. Obama cannot be the socialist as the GOP claims AND be supporting the uber wealthy. The GOP led congress has been the leader pushing the programs that benefit the one percent. Name something that Obama has tried to implement that the GOP has backed when it involves our economy. Obama wants to raise taxes and put forth more regulations across the economic and enviromental sector. The GOP screams that these plans would steal from the rich not benefit them. Bush Jr. set in motion the monumental shift in wealth within our country. Seems you conservatives have a short term memory problem.

Stay away from the koolaid, it's fogged your mind. It's the GOP's policies that is driving the wealth into the hands of the few. Don't you read all the rants on this board? Obama is a socialist who wants to take from the rich and give to the poor. Name a policy that Obama is pushing that will enrich the wealthy.
