Do you really want to hold up Gov. Jindal as an expert on foreign affairs? Who's next? Senator Rubio? The cookie monster from the muppets? Rush Limbaugh? Jindal is a pathetic excuse for a leader. Just ask the state of louisiana. You are not making a case against Obama by quoting Jindal. When are you going to blame Obama for the gridlock in the GOP led House and Senate?
Most of my beliefs are closer to the libetarian platform than the other two party's. Private pay scales were interfered with back during Reagan's day. Several retired execs I know including family members agree with the incentive based pay fiasco I'm talking about. The pay game has been rigged. Proof? Look at the stagnant wages for the large majority of workers in this country. I'm talking about white and blue collar work. Unions have their major flaws but they did keep industry and other businesses honest when it came to pay.
The message progressive's make? It's no different than what the conservatives make. Let us have our way completely and we will change things for the better. Same message, different mouth and agenda. I agree, welfare and entitlements need to be reworked. While gutting the welfare roles, lets eliminate corporate welfare and tax breaks, outlaw lobbying and campaign donantions above 100$ by any indvidual, business, or special interest group. Change exec compensation from incentive based pay tied to stock performance to straight salary, and see other folks pay rise as quickly. Our elected official's medical benefits should be the same as the median coverage of all Citizens. Blah blah blah. There is a lot in this country that could be done better. By both sides of the political spectrum.
Don't forget Boehner, Cruz, Rbio, Rand, and some of the really wacked out tea party koolaid drinkers
And replace it with what? The tea party agenda? Look at Kansas, Wisconsin, and Louisianna. They implemented the Tea party wishist and their state's economic welfare is in serious peril.
What has your vaunted GOP leadership don for this country? NOTHING but whine and gripe. They have the house and senate majority and all they can do is whine and gripe. What an embarrassment. When the Dems had the Senate everything was the Dems fault, now the GOP has control of it and everything is the Dems fault. The GOP needs to grow a new set of testicles
you seem uneducated. Let's see, Obama got Bin laden and a bunch of other high ranking terrorists. One moment he's a war monger, the next he's a #$%$. Which is it?
She has been playing it smart. It's difficult to stick one's foot into one's mouth when it's closed. The GOP better hope she does something really stupid, Theres not a candidate who thrown his hat in on the GOP side that can beat her.
Slug, I'm quite happy to be living where I am. I have a long list of relatives who are war veterans. I understand what it takes to keep our country safe, My very conservative family members do not like Obama, They liked Bush jr. even less. The only policies that Obama supports that I appreciate are his views on the enviroment. When it comes to entitlements, choose your poison. Dems give to the "little man" The GOP gives to the wealthy, the rest of us pay the bills.
Why don't you and Hap move to Kansas, that shining beacon of economic prosperity under the masterful guidance of the tea party and their favorite son Gov. Brownback. Hey, don't sound good, then try Wisconsin, They are having the same tea party fueled economic boom as Kansas. Yep the drivel you espouse is working wonders in these states.
"we had Iraq where we wanted"
Conturd, You really are blind. We gutted Iraq's infrastucture, military, economy, and it's goverment and left them to die a slow withering death. Bush started a two front war and left the mess for the next president to deal with. It didn't matter who it was, (it just happened to be Obama) Your scorn and hatred for all things not hardcore conservative blinds you. History will blame Bush for the middle east mess. Time will tell.
Idiot. The middle east was lost under Bush Jr. He opened the door for Iran to fill the power vacuum. What the real lesson here is that there is NO place in governing a nation for religion. ANY religion in any nation.
I agree with alot of what you are saying, and I think Walker can win the GOP primary, I don't believe he can carry the nation. The only reason Obama won his first election was because of the wingnut pairing of McCain /Palin by the GOP doomed them. The second, only because their candidate wasn't strong enough to overcome the incumbent's natural advantage. It wasn't Obama's brilliance as so much the GOP's stupdity and arrogance as to their downfall in back to back elections
I'm not a fan of either party, I want to see people who are there to take care of this country's business, ignoring all special interest groups, and forget about legislating morality issues.
