I notice Kohls customer service has gone downhill fast these last few months. I guess because they're sales and profits are sinking so they beat up their customers and are tougher on returns.
Seeking Alpha has some good analysis on NE, ESV and the other drillers. All of the analysts on SA are bullish on NE, ESV and PGN. I'm happy with their dividends esp since bank accounts yield almost zero.
The Sweet Dividend came today. I think it's about 37 cents a share (therefore yield about 5.5%) but one of the mavens here could expound. Very sweet in deed.
McDs management themselves predict dismal sales for the rest of the year. Who knows how far it will drop.
The meat overseas is rotten and the service here stinks. Some of these McDs hire such rude counter people who should be hidden in the back room stocking crates or something. These impolite obnoxious people should not be dealing with customers at the counter.
For awhile I never at anymore at BK they were dirty and the employees were so bad. However, in my area they have made a great turn around and clean with super efficient clean employees. I like it so far and the burgers are much better then some competitors and the new deserts are wonderful!
Suddenly several nations seem to be ganging up on McD and a few other FF restaurants. Ok, I understand the expired/bad meat thing in China, but now Russia? What the heck!?
I am not sure why Kohl's sends me at least one email, if not two a day and loads my mailbox with coupons when some checkout people give me such a hard time when I go to use them I read them carefully for all the "tiny print" but evidently the checkout people do not. I go shopping for my clothes as well as for fun. I do not go for an unpleasant experience. Kohls needs to educate its people better and work on customer relations. Used to be very good but has gone downhill badly.
What do you expect? It's McDonalds! As the other poster said you can try talking to the manager but some care and many don't give a hoot. Some McDs stink. Not much you can do these days. The service industry as a whole here is awful.
I hold RIG and am very disappointed with their management. despite their large size they have not leveraged their power to increase revenues. I agree with the analysts who recommend "hold" as opposed to buy at this point until top management changes.
I was in the Katy Penney's the other day and they gave me a battle over the friggin coupons their own company sent me. The manager there needs to be re-educated how to treat and speak to customers. I'll never shop there again for a paid of dress pants! KOHLS is the place to be for 5 Star customer service imo !!
