    Abject Looting Continues at Pandora...

the auto selling buy the exec's helps the shorts further manipulate this stock. Maybe while Pandora is seeking legislative relief they could propose legislation to prevent exec's from selling shares the 1st two years. This would prevent the fleecing of shareholders. P exec's have no skin in this game, how committed are they to the shareholders ? Interestingly, the CEO, Joe Kennedy is the only exec who hasn't sold a share. Amazing how a publicly traded company will hold investor conference after investor conference to increase shareholders while none of the executives is willing to buy any shares..... RED FLAG !!!! Together the Pandora exec's have sold 70 million plus $$$ WORTH of shares and bought ZERO shares, RED FLAG. This just further illustrate how the not so free markets work. How many times have you seen the exec's of a company making a killing, along with the IPO handlers, initial venture capital. Good company, poor business model and nothing but thieves and con-artist running this company. They only chance of surviving is bribing the politicians with all the money they've pocketed this first year, but these exec's don't seem so inclined. CFO is leaving , watch as others follow and you'll know they've exercised all options available. Only in America is white collar crime legal !!!! Great business model, from the Bernie Madoff, Bernie Ebbers school of convicts..

  • Pandora Media (NYSE: P)‘s stock had its “overweight” rating restated by equities researchers at JPMorgan Chase in a report issued on Wednesday. They currently have a $14.00 target price on the stock.

The analysts wrote, “We remain positive on Pandora, as we believe it is well positioned to take share of the U.S. online display, mobile, and radio ad markets (~$37B opportunity by 2014). We recognize that very strong growth in usage hours driven by mobile will continue to weigh on profitability in the near to mid term, but in the meantime we believe Pandora will build significant market share and that the ability to monetize mobile hours will improve over the next few years and drop down to the bottom line.”

ALL SIGNS POINT TO AN IMMINENT BUY-OUT

Pandora is in the drivers seat. Any buyout will occur at a premium to the initial stock offering. Pandora gets the price and terms it wants or no deal. Taking the company private is an option if they don't get their price. Private equity would continue to grow the ad revenue while lobbying on the legislative front. Pandora's ad revenue expertise in the mobile market is worth $$$$. Pandora the leader in internet streaming will get a premium price for any deal to take place now. The wagons are circling.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Determination of Rates and Terms for Preexisting Subscription Services and Satellite Digital Audio Radio Services, Docket No. 2011-1 CRB PSS/Satellite II
On December 14, 2012, the Copyright Royalty Judges issued their Initial Determination setting rates and terms for the digital performance of sound recordings and the making of ephemeral recordings by preexisting subscription services (PSS) and preexisting satellite digital audio radio services (SDARs) under the statutory licenses set forth in Sections 112 and 114 of the Copyright Act for January 1, 2013, through December 31, 2017.

Section 112 Rates: The Judges adopted the Parties' Stipulation regarding the rates and terms for the Section 112 rates, which will require a minimum fee advance payment of $100,000 per year, with royalties accruing during the year recoupable against the advance. The parties agreed that the value of the royalties allocated to the Section 112 license holders is 5% of the total royalty obligation, with the remaining 95% going to the Section 114 license holders.

Section 114 Rates: The Judges determined that the appropriate Section 114(f)(1) rates for Preexisting Subscription Services for 2013-2017 are 8% of Gross Revenues for 2013 and 8.5% for 2014 through 2017.

The Judges determined that the appropriate Section 114(f)(1) rates for Preexisting Satellite Digital Audio Radio Services for 2013-2017 are 9% of Gross Revenues for 2013, 9.5% for 2014, 10.0% for 2015, 10.5% for 2016 and 11.0% for 2017.

The parties have until December 19, 2012, to request redaction from the Initial Determination of any information governed by the Protective Order in effect in this proceeding. A public version of the full text of the Initial Determination will be made available upon redaction of protected information.

who is bold enough to make the move ? All make sense. One option we failed to mention is a private equity buy-out as they see to much value in Pandora. They take P private and wait till the legislative mess is fixed..

or Google, see the headline today. Amazon, Facebook and some traditional Terrestrial Broadcasters are all looking at Pandora. The mobile advertising growth is a key driver for all of these companies. Who needs Pandora the industry leader in mobile growth the most ?

P's existing proven sales-force would be a tremendous asset to Apple. An area Apple hasn't historically been good at . Imagine the results with the Apple brand $$$. Really makes sense and easily could be integrated to Itunes. Would be a tremendous growth driver to the cash rich Apple. With Apple special licensing agreements in place the sky is the limit for growth.

Commenting on the developments, Ticker said "Over time, we expect monetization efforts to come to fruition and drive strong revenue growth. We are uncertain about the outcome of royalty rates negotiation currently in progress with CRB. However, if the CRB decides that internet radio should receive a lower royalty rate, this should benefit the internet radio industry in general."

Maxim has a Buy rating on Pandora (NYSE: P) and a $17 price target.

girth, fake and hash isn't a musician. He's short P and been bashing hundreds of stocks/people since 2003. The clue was he has no interest in collecting a penny from terrestrial radio. Even the opposition to this original bill, the ones representing the musicians are demanding that Terrestrial radio must pay its fair share going forward. Only a fool, or someone short P would oppose this. C'mon, tell us some more about your #1 hits, grammy's etc..Exposed short !!!

if you continue to get Zero royalty payment from Terrestrial radio you'll be living on the Indian reservation soon if not already. Just think of all the royalty payments you could have gotten the past 30 years from Terrestrial radio ! I guess if your O.K. with this there really isn't any point in trying to educate you now. You musicians have been dormant for the last 50 years.. You've been robbed blind and you still don't get it.
