  • Up .79 and going higher or Down from 8.75 this mornings opening and going lower.
What interesting plans will these guys come up with?
Does anyone think that the executive team will forego their bonuses and stock option grants until they right the ship?
If they made that announcement the stock would fly 10.00 instantly

    To Meg and Chrome
Your insight is most appreciated my curiosity was geared to the ability of larger funds owning mnkd that maybe could not because it was under 5.00.
From some other work I have done it seems like those restrictions have pretty much gone by the wayside and unless a fud is extremely restricted by its charter they can do anything that they want.
It even seems that you can short a stock that is under 5.00 on an initial buy which until 6 years ago was not allowed by FIMRA
Again thanks so much for your insight

    Any help?

I understand that Kevin is tossing out possibilities but he is wasting his talents
I also understand that things are changing at mankind thus the addition of a very Pharma Savvy Board Member. No one even talks about this because they don't understand.
The so called power struggle that you say is taking place will go away as the launch issues during this soft launch is understood and dealt with.
The folks at SNY and MNKD do not want to #$%$ off the many stakeholders in this effort.
I understand the SOP of Al Mann much better than you can imagine as I have personally dealt with him before. He is older but still sharp as I saw him at the SH meeting last week.
Lastly the reality of T/S is that it is a device because it has no Pharma action
It is a device for delivery of agents that will go into the blood stream via the lungs .
There is a molecular attachment of the pharma drug to the device particle.
The T/S could be considered similar to PVA (Poly Vinal Achohol) that is used to embolize AVM's in the brain which is considered a device by the FDA
    Thank you for your thoughts
But focus on the ADA abstracts and the New Board member

  • Does marginability percentage change or does it just become marginable?
Does it no become buyable to other various Funds is that a large number?

    dead feline bounce again

This dead Feline bounce is going to 4.87 and if it breaks through that it is off to the races to 7.00 so that they can get the warrants done in the beginning of August .
Take a look at what is happening AF has given his final Swan Song and came back on the stage for a final bow and I told you so but now I am telling you it is going up and I can no longer waste my time knocking it down so I am going to go to Chicago for the ASCO Bio Pharma meeting to find new fish to fry...
He did not say anything about going to the ADA meeting next week in Boston.
Short term things are moving in the correct direction

Where do you come up with this stuff? Companies do not enter into agreements to break them within six months. The management at SNY knows how to market drugs and they need to fill the pipe line with product and they need to figure out several issues about how to service and train all the people involved.
If anything the management team at MNKD is week and they need to move up their game. They are not a strong management team and should have figured a lot more issues out before this has come to market.
You also have to understand that Afrezza is the drug that validates Technospheres as a device that enables the delivery of a whole host of drugs and that is where the money is going to be but only if the current JV management team transforms to the major league.
Maybe you should be thinking about why the new Board Member returned to the company ?
Forget this stuff about selling the company or Replacing the current deal at this time.
You are a smart guy and work hard to deliver good information but the stuff you talk about regarding new buyouts or changes in the current deal is just mental masterbaution. Use your talents think of the opportunities that will be next week when there are 5 abstracts presented on the use of Afrezza combined with technospheres as a delivery device for inhaled insulin

    How about this simple math
1 script equals 4140 total revenue per year MNKD gets 35% or 1,449.00 Gross profit.
They can treat (production) max of 2 million patients at the Danbury facility which would equal $2,898,000,000.00. In gross profit to MNKD
    That is not so bad

  • Wipe away the hostility and Harry is a fan of mine. His email arrived Monday night, probably written after consuming an adult beverage, or two. MannKind investors haven't had much to celebrate since Afrezza was approved last year, so go ahead and take your victory lap because of two consecutive days in which MannKind's stock price rose 20%.

I didn't write anything about MannKind's stock performance over the past week because I generally don't write about short-term volatility. I try to let more time pass before grading my work, bullish or bearish. On May 11, MannKind closed at $3.63, the lowest closing stock price since April 2013. Afrezza was approved on June 27, 2014. The next trading day, MannKind closed at $10.96 per share. Almost 11 months later, MannKind's stock price is down almost 60%.

Maybe Harry bought MannKind share at their recent nadir and he's sitting on profits. Congrats if that's the case, but calling me wrong for being bearish on MannKind doesn't ring true given Afrezza's slow launch, the continued weak condition of the company's balance sheet and the stock's underperformance over time. I don't make a habit of patting myself on the back, but the column I wrote almost one year ago predicting the rise and inevitable fall of MannKind's stock price before Afrezza was approved was pretty darn prescient.

When I am wrong, I admit my mistakes. Accountability is important when you spend your days at a keyboard offering pointed analysis and opinions, like I do. In this line of work, I'm going to be wrong frequently. I didn't believe Afrezza would be approved. I was wrong about that. Maybe MannKind's marketing partner Sanofi will eventually figure out how to transform Afrezza into a blockbuster product. Maybe MannKind shares will rebound to where they were almost one year ago or even move higher. I haven't seen evidence of a turnaround, in fact, the company's fundamentals are at higher risk today, but we'll let time be the judge. More than two days, pl

I have never seen a lock up expire on a Sunday any thoughts as to why ?
When will shares be put into accounts so that they can be sold.
I think it takes 3 days before the restrictions can be removed (Yes there is a stamp on each share say cannot be sold) and the stock received into the sellers account.
Most accounts cannot sell because they do not have physical ownership of the shares.
This could be up on the next 2 days and then fall on Wednesday or Tuesday
    Thoughts ?
