I would say down about 75 points to start with ANR being above 30 cents.

I thought you wanted me to pray to God? Now you want me to talk to a big guy upstairs in your building? Sorry, buddy just because Obama turns the rainbow on at the white house does not mean Ben will become another Barney frank for Alpha coal. You get his attention and give him Hulk`s name. He will be green with envy.

On another note, I kept thinking about Alpha drilling on two active mines. Cumberland and Emerald mines. Seems Emerald mine was to close in this second half of 2015 so one has to wonder if Cumberland will go offline since it mines thermal coal.

Just kidding already talked to God as I do every day. I am looking forward to ANR paying those August bonds on time. Since you`re going to be sending out one case of wine Ben could use a case of cheese. That way when I see Bill in Spain we can drink your wine and eat your cheese. When ANR hits $35 the cheese will help on my journey of 750 kilometers when I walk the Spanish pilgrim path of Camino de Santiago (Road of St James). Good thing about cheese is they have found some that were thousands of years old and still good to eat. On this board, it is always good to have cheese to go with all the whine! Ben.

The more I look at this deal the more I wonder if PLR was not making money already for itself. If so why did ANR have to pay the cash? PLR was a JV with EDFand ANR. PSC bought the 50 percent of PLR from EDF. Then ANR had to sell their 50 percent of PLR to PSC or do a transaction to transfer it.

PLR had 45 wells and 20,000 acres with a management team from EDF. Now since there will be no PLR those employees which looked out for production will now become ANR employees. It seems in looking at ANR assets I find many shell companies. It looks like now under PSC which is a branch of ANR any money they have will now come back under the parent company.

It looks like this JV was not a 50/50 partnership, but that EDF called the shots till they decide to pull out of some assets in the US.

Last year and this week I talked about ANR having a 4MCF pumping station. I always wondered what they did with it. We found out about EDF after we sold Rice our 7500 acres in Dec 9 2013 and when they had an IPO but the facts are ANR also had a partnership with EDF in May 2013 while they had a partnership with Rice. We just never knew about PLR.

So did PSC under ANR get the full package? Do we have 45 working wells beside the new 50 locations we will drill or did they get lost in translation? When I see all these different shells I begin to think of the old CEO of CHK and we found out what he was doing behind the scenes. Makes you wonder why ANR did not spell out what our 50 percent got us. I know Ben would like to know what $126 million paid for.

It is.That is why you should never do this at home. You don`t want to take out your neighborhood and town with it. I wonder why they are increasing the power to the collider in Cern looking for the God particle. They may find the wrath of God when a black hole opens up and takes out the planet. . I believe they are on borrowed time. Once a black hole opens up it will just keep growing.

You need a aluminium chamber with superconductive magnets causing a pool of special mercury to rotate around which causes aluminium to become magnetised. You also need a power source which can increase power to increase the magnetic field. Die glocko was made like this and the mercury was radioactive. You see this is something you don`t play around with. Five of the seven scientist in Die Glocko died when they turned it on because they were in the field. Crystals would form in animal tissue, blood would gel & separate while plants would decompose into a grease like substance.

I agree. It makes no sense. Lets hope beside buying out EDF they were buying those cheap bonds. I want to see ANR`s debt down big time. Could Rothschild have loaned us the money to buy out bonds from Citi and that hedge fund at 60 cents on the dollar or less? Since everyone wants to get out of coal maybe this bank and the hedge fund do to. I would love for Rothschild to be our number one money person. Get debt down below $1 billion and ANR can buy all the NG acres they want.

On top of that Rothschild can do our secondary of ANR and IPO of PSC. You know being our number one lender does have advantages.

I think one statement stands out. We now have control of the Jv`s 25,000 acres. Were they not in control before? I thought they were partners. Second they are going to drill around two working coal mines and frack. I would think believe it or not this would help with methane in the mine unless the fracking causes a massive leak. Let`s hope they shut the mine down and test before they allow miners back in our we could have another UBB.

Third. We were in a partnership with Rice till Dec 9 2013.It was told they were selling out to Rice yet ANR formed JV with EDF in May 2013. Did I dream this up or did ANR not tell us until after the IPO of Rice? Fourth if this land is on top of our mines and we sold 7500 acres to Rice which they drilled on leaving 12,500 acres from Foundation what did we really get from EDF? EDF had 20,000 acres and 45 wells before our JV. Surely it was more that taking control of the partnership? Did we get all of EDF`s acres and wells or did we just buy mineral rights we did not own on top of our wells from EDF?

Don`t feel bad. Ben has tried to tell folks over 3 years ago global warming was fake and a Ice age was coming . Remember Noah preached for 120 years till the flood. If I remember right his family was the only one saved. Now we have the free gift of Jesus and hardly anyone listens either.

Looks like he is working overtime to get all the folks in the life rafts before the ship goes down. Either he is hero or villain. We get off the ship and he sails away leaving us with pennies on the dollar. Now I don`t know CCC. He seems to be a nice guy. I can`t say if he is a villain.

I just know if ANR can`t pay August 1 bonds why would they spend the rent money on NG assets? As some have said why not buy back those cheap bonds? With all these bonds due trading at 55 cents why not just buy them at half place and book the gain this quarter?

Now buying out EDF must have been a sweet deal. Either we got the whole package or EDF sold off pieces to us. I know for a fact they had 20,000 acres and 45 wells which on their website went into our NG partnership. We have more than 25,000 acres. Now if we got the whole package it means PSC has been in the oil and gas business since 2013/2014. It also means ANR has never told us about how many acres we really have.

If we had 20,000 from foundation and sold 7500 that left 12,500 and if Massey had 20,000 plus as I think that would be 32,500. Now most of our NG acres is on top of two of our coal mines with longwalls in Greene county. Now, what about the UBB mine area? Folks we could have over 100,000 acres and never know it.

So if CCC is right it is going to be one big shareholder lawsuit when we had Rice stock and cash to pay the rent but instead put our money on a horse called PSC. On the other hand Ben thinks we will pay bonds in Aug. We will have a R/S. We then will have a secondary to pay off debt and then in the last part of 2015 or first quarter2016 PSC will have an IPO which will grow quick like Rice. Call Ben gullible but I have faith in CCC and Kevin that they are honest folks. If not will let the judge decide.

My track record has not been to good. I lost the family I loved. Lost most of my retirement in ANR but my faith is not broken and I look to the future with ANR getting back to $35 once again.

If that is the case it will be fraud and even after BK there will be no ANR because of shareholder lawsuits. The court will take over ANR and sell off assets to pay shareholders. You can`t take cash and transfer it to a shell company like PLC and think you can park assets that won`t be touched in class action. I do not think Kevin is that dumb and if it happens I will say CCC was right and who is the lawyer or lawyers in class action.

I did find a funny statement tonight in Marcellus shale records. Alpha natural sold its 50 percent interest in Jv to PLC LLC. Now, why did it not say EDF sold 50 percent to PLC LLC? Did EDF and Alpha both sell to PLC which is suppose to be a branch of Alpha? IF Alpha goes BK does it mean our NG assets are free and clear from Alpha? Now Ben is no judge but that seems criminal if the case and Kevin plus the BOD will go to jail.

No, I have faith in Kevin to do what is right because if this goes south it means our past CEO knew of it and it becomes a Criminal conspiracy which means we have a person guilty of conspiracy with another person or persons to commit a crime with intent .Then if there is extortion we have RICO which makes ANR is a criminal enterprise.

All I can say is I wonder how Kevin, management and the BOD will like being in jail with a bunch of perverts because Ben will make sure they are not put in a country club prison.

More from the EDF north American website: EDFTR has acquired and operates assets in East Texas and operates assets in Pennsylvania, which were acquired through Pennsylvania Land Resources, LLC, an affiliated entity formed in May 2013 by EDFTR and Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. EDFTR is focused on safe, transparent operations that value people, the environment and reputation above all else.

( Now look at this) As of September 1, 2014, EDFTR operates approximately 45 wells and more than 20,000 net acres located in Greene County, Pennsylvania, which were acquired by Pennsylvania Land Resources, LLC, d/b/a/ P L Resources, LLC, as part of a joint venture with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alpha Natural Resources, Inc.

What did we get for $126 million and how long has money been going out for PLR? Also, note Rice got 7500 acres of our first 18,000 acres we put in that partnership. The well count we gave Rice and what I saw in the Marcellus shale records did not add up.Could we have an oil and gas business we and wall street know nothing about and if so why have we been kept in the dark?

I would like to know what we got from EDF that was worth $126 million. Did they put up half the money for leases or did we get assets like wells etc?

Alpha acquired EDFTR’s interest upon EDF’s decision to exit North American upstream exploration and production (E&P) activities. ( Notice it said production. I had EDF at 45 wells. Most of our NG assets is over coal reserves of two of our longwalls. Also, EDF had 20,000 acres before the JV. Another key word is we got infrastructure. What infrastructure? If we got the wells we got the pipelines also which makes it easy to tie on new wells.

Now we know ANR had 12,000 acres give or take at the start of this JV. We now have 25,000 acres. Those other 13,000 acres could be leased. You would not pay $126 million if EDF wanted out of the deal if they added no value to the JV. There must be more to this deal than what ANR is putting out.

If EDF sold out to us we got wells and acres and will pay royalties on the 45 wells and we have a lot more acres than ANR will put out. Then you have to ask why would they not put out what we own?

No, there is more to this story to unfold yet and I believe an IPO will come in first quarter 2016 or sooner. Then we will find out what they have.

  • benstevens75 benstevens75 Jul 2, 2015 4:27 PM Flag

It still makes no sense to me unless they got a sweet deal because EDF wanted to pull out. Now ANR can have an IPO on the NG assets and increase market cap. I would just like to know how many acres we got that we did not pay for?

I bet you are great at funerals. Have you thought about being a professional mourner? Please, if Ben is ever put in ICU don`t come to the hospital and talk to the family. I can hear it now. Is he dead yet? You know there is no chance in hell he comes out of there.

Your Jedi mind tricks won`t work on Ben. Many of a battle that looked lost turned around when hope was inspired. Have a great 4th .ANR is not dead and as long as we are still kicking there is hope.

No. In 2016 look for an IPO on our NG assets. This will give us money to double the business like Rice. If EDF is getting out they also have assets in Texas that the IPO might be able to buy cheap.

Was just looking at land buys by Rice energy. They gave $336 million for 22,000 acres or $15,272 an acre. Had 7 wells. If we got 12,500 acres we paid $10080. Then the question becomes if we bought out EDF did we get all their assets? I showed before the JV they had 20,000 acres and 45 wells. Makes no reason for EDF to sell us half and keep the other. If ANR got all we will pay royalties on the wells and our acres is greater than what Alpha is putting out.

Rices first IPO raised over $924 million .
