You might be the boldest pumper i have ever come across. Too funny. If all you say were true, the market would have figured it out by now and this would be a 30 $ stock. The fact of the matter is the patent apps have published (no claims were granted yet mind you) and the market has been unimpressed. Achn has not outperformed other biotechs since the patents published. Why is that? One the patents are weak and two everyone knows there are zero deuterated drugs on the market. ZERO. Can you imagine how expensive it will be to scale up kilos of 3422? Good luck 3422! "No concerns on achn IP at all" that one is hilarious!!
Or maybe the supposed 3422 patent came out and the hedgies hired patent attorneys to give their opinions and it wasnt good at all. Face it, ever since the patent apps were released, the market reaction has been underwhelming. Why? Because there are no deuterated drugs on the market. GOGS too high for these wanna be drugs and claims prob wont hold up in court, everyone (who knows anything) knows this. Just do some google research. Hey maybe the P1 3422 results will be decent and there will be a pop, i would use that opp to sell and run for the hills just as insiders did long ago.
Most of their activity has fallen off a cliff. Either they cant show their face when the stick is up or many have covered. I wish theyd come back, shorts help a stock explode higher as they capitulate.....
Very bullish! Esp. the import/export picture. Now if oil would just trend up (and the dollar weaken a little) peix would really explode imo
You mention virology, i guarantee that merck and gilead know more about virology than achn. They both have progressed virolgy projects further into clinical trials than achn. Hilarious. And you change the subject to nucs, too frickin funny
Gilead had a deep enough understanding of virology to buy sovaldi. Which will make how many billions? What has achn s deep understanding accomplished? Oh yeah they ripped off sovaldi. Too frickin funny
And i think the vast majority of deuterated analogs are obvious, ie not novel. But thats just me. Will be interesting to see what the patent law decides if a deuterated compound is ever litigated
What exactly were YOU referring to w your "deep" comment.? How they ripped off sovaldi w a deuterium? Lol So what is their deep understanding of virology again? You do realize other companies like bmy, pharmassett, etc etc have made it to P3. Not achn tho. So what exactly is their deep understanding again ? Did you read Tuckers twitter comments on 3422's weak IP.? Exactly what ive been saying all along and now youre clearly agitated. Lol
My assessment is there are no significant deuterated drugs on the market and 3422 (if in fact 3422's structure is the one disclosed in recent app) will not be the first deuterated drug to market
Everybody in the industry understands that achn is nothing more than a fast follow on company. They let other companies invent and then their small research outfit tries to do fast follow on (knock off). The strategy might work, outside chance. But they have never been and never will be cutting edge imo. They do not have a deep understanding of anything compared to a Gilead or a Merck , except trying to do fast follow on of bigger companies like Gilead or Merck/Bristol. So for example they did not come up with a hcv protease, hcv poylmerase or hcv 5A compound first. Fact 1, other companies invented novel, potent and efficacious drugs in these three categories first and achn is currently trying to do fast follow on. Fact2, so far an achn compound has never been past P2......
Take a look at 3422 structure. Not a single fda approved deuterated drug on the market (and many many have tried) , that is part of the problem....,.why do you think insiders have sold over 100 mill in the last few months.....
Google deuterated drugs. Or deuterium drugs. Or deuterated/deuterium drugs on the market. Do some reading, very interesting!
Second question for longs- If its a high percentage strategy to rip off a drug like sovaldi with a deuterated analog. Why arent there examples of these types of drugs in the market to compete with the drug they ripped off? Fair question?
