So glad to hear that you welcome capital raises and dilution. Looks like you will be getting a bunch more .
Or when Elon told us on several occasions there would be no need to raise additional capital only to do several capital raises.
I am just pointing out that from what I am reading this issue is not over since the NHTSA said on late Friday that a " review of the data is underway". This to me contradicts what Elon tweeted also on late Friday. Also on the TMC board the guy who who owns the Tesla with the bad ball joint broke his silence today. He said that NHTSA was still investigating his case and he would report back when they get back to him. So obviously it is still ongoing. Also how many people that signed a NDA will now come out of the woodwork .
The statement from NHTSA does not say say "we have found no issues" it says " to date NHTSA has not indentified any safety issue........." . The statement also says that a review of the data is underway. This is from the late Friday NHTSA statement not to be confused with the Thursday NHTSA statement.
There was also a Friday statement from Thomas of the NHTSA saying that a review of the data is underway.
Bulb see my post and google the Hybrid Cars story. That article contains the late Friday statement from Thomas at the NHTSA. He said in that statement that a review of the data is underway .
Google the Hybrid Cars Article dated June 11, 2016 by Jeff Cobb . Bryan Thomas the NHTSA spokesman issued another statement on late Friday that said that Tesla fully complied with their request for information and that a review of this data is underway. It goes on to say that to date it has not Identified any issues with the suspensions. The key here is that they are still reviewing the data that Tesla has submitted. This is the same guy who on Thursday that they are also requesting data from Tesla owners.
Google the Hybrid Cars story about Tesla suspension problems by Jeff Cobb June 11,2016. It says that late Friday Bryan Thomas of NHTSA said that Tesla provided the information they requested and a review of this information is underway. They also say that this is consistent to what he said on Thursaday. If they are reviewing this information then is the case closed on this ?
You are making it sound like NHTSA made this statement to the news sources when in fact it was a tweet from Elon. The WSJ is saying that as of Friday they were still looking into the matter and gathering informatiAlso the owner of the Tesla who had the ball joint problem posted today that he is still waiting to hear back from NHTSA as they are still investigating his complaint.
There are two articles on the subject in this weekends WSJ the one everyone is quoting is the Heard on the Street article that first appeared on the Internet on Friday. That article said on Thursday that " it has begun looking into possible suspension problems." Then there is the newer article that is on page b3 that I quoted above that says as of Friday the NHTSA was collecting data. The authors are mike Ramsey and Mike Spector. It sounds to me that this is still ongoing and not a dead issue as Elon claims.
Elon tweeted that it is over however the weekend WSJ story seems to say otherwise. On page b3 the article states " NHTSA on Friday said it was undertaking routine data collection in reviewing the possible suspension problem on the Model S."
