Now that IS funny. You have the basher moron admitting he is all the multiple names suggested, and probably more, saying "Let's see if you have the nads to do that" which is to hold the stock over the weekend. Uh du, many of us will be holding this stock for a long time to come, and could care less about "this weekend". We are moving into the very interesting stage, where all the manipulations, short positions etc. can't do a thing against speculation on outcomes, other than actually help the long side. If results good, it only helps even more. Result: trends up, with potential for huge gaps up. IMO Hold now. EOS

    Accumulation. When will news break?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I called the trading range long ago, said i sold when it went over six, then said to wait till it fell back, which many/most here got wrong and held or bought more before drop, and as well made comments about how i was wrong.I then said, i was in trading again along with my core position acquired for nothing from trades, and said it looked like a bottom under 3.35. Now, i am holding BOTH, short and long term positions. Risk vs reward here favors big reward, to me, in my opinion. We are in the pre speculative zone on major trials. It is a crazy short, unless hedged. That is my take, all the rest seems to be rehash of old news, while the primary outcome remains unchanged, in that good results huge move up, and failure causes drop, but as there are multiple potentials, limited to some degree.EOS

So predictable. Keeping her low for a nibble all summer on road to 500k. "Nothing to get excited about, said the joker to the thief!"

Actually you are short, and all you can do is come up with ridiculous claims, which make you sound really dumb. Cover, as previously advised before it moves up another $15 before year end. Or, maybe you should smoke up with your friends, you seem to hang out with!

The only one blowing smoke here is you and your various clones! Sierra is doing great, has leading technology, cash, no debt and huge future. Cover your short position and take your loss before it gets far worse.

Who's doing the hiring at SWIR?

You might even argue the reverse, in so far as Universities turning out innovators, in large numbers. Why? Schools turn out, in large measure, people who have learned to memorize, follow set procedures and theories, long and well established. In other words, they do not, often, teach how to be divergent thinkers.IMO Which is why people like Bill Gates emerge, after leaving early. They simply get bored and can't wait to move on their own ideas, and are often way ahead anyway in the areas that they want to move on. SWIR has proven leasing technology. It came from being a leader, not a follower. Give me those divergent thinkers, like they encourage in Israel. Not the boring turned out thousands of clones we see from many schools.IMO

Yep, I was sooo stupid, that I bought when all the fools were saying sell, and told everyone when and at what price: $3 range. I was sooo stupid, that I tripled my money. Now, I do not like the upside vs downside risks here at this price range. Does that mean it does not go up more? Of course not. My investments, however are based on my risk/reward analysis, and here and now this simply does not qualify. I have other situations where I see doubles or triples over next months, whereas here, I do not. Its that simple. Give me under $8, and I might be interested. EOS Play it as you like folks. I buy to make big money, not small percentage up moves, with risks of larger downsides.

Anyone who is familiar with Vancouver should know that it is a hot place for high tech right now. Consider: Microsoft just announced hiring 400 more in Vancouver, Amazon 100, Sony just announced it is moving their Large Digital Imaging headquarters from the Bay Area to Vancouver, Gener8 just raised big money for Vancouver Operations, Hootsuite expanding in Vancouver and strong rumors has Alibaba moving into Vancouver with their North American Operations, as well. Have you seen Boeing operations in Vancouver in high tech area? As for whether some employees graduated from a particular school, or not, I suppose Bill Gates, who did not graduate, by the way, and Microsoft, might know a bit about where to find the best. Ever checked out how they do it??? So why did these big names just pick Vancouver? I guess they should have consulted the resident genius on this board who claims to know better They all must be crazy, and need to consult with him! FACT IS: VANCOUVER is hot for programming and high tech right now, for a variety of reasons: very large community of highly trained in tech, access to highly trained immigrant base (Chinese and other moving here) best living conditions (always in top 5 cities in the WHOLE WORLD to live, in most every serious major survey and analysis,The Economist, for example) , lower taxes than say California, less crime than many large cities in the U.S. and great schools, including BCIT (B.C. Institute of Technology), Simon Fraser University and U.B.C. But again, just look up who is moving to Vancouver. It speaks for itself. So SWIR looks very well positioned and ahead of the pack. They did not get where they are, by being stupid. So dream on, shorts or negative crew, Vancouver and SWIR perfectly positioned and with plenty of brains on board. So at least get your facts straight! roflmao Price trends up, but of course with volatility. That is the nature of this sector. But this looks to be a major winner.IMO

Spin it, try and twist it around, but we have serious accumulation and positioning. I see it like this - SWIR is the leader in both position and intellectual property, in a huge expanding market. Its a potential grand slam. That is the simple reality. Add on, no debt, cash, cash flow and focus. Seriously, it does not get better. No guarantees, but this IS as good as it gets.IMO buy and hold.
