Why? Because they do not connect with investors, who do not believe obviously, that the continuous release of new patent grants will yield any revenue. This may be right or wrong, but the investor relations department and or management, certainly is NOT getting across meaningful revenue coming from these. Thus the releases are largely ignored or seen as even disappointing. Show people money, where you do not need to keep going for more to cover losses. This is not a new startup folks, that is the reality. History not great in this regard. Change the revenue outlook, and the stock moves up. Don't, and it will come down more, even with 100 new patent applications/approvals. OR at least show where any of these are going to get applied so that Sprylogics actually makes any money. In other words, will anybody of significance use this technique???? Apparently not viewing reaction of stock.

Posters here, just like you, have an agenda based on their cuurent positions, desire for price change motivated by all manner of reasons, personal situations.(like being a past employee or jealousy )Thats the reality. Some vent, other give opinions while some even provide research. Anyone who makes their investment decisions based on a post without their own further DD, can only look to themselves as to wherever that ends up. But it is an open platform, so we expect every sort of post.
My opinions, for example, are nothing more than that. Now, long definitely. Big upside potential from discounting most everything at this stage.iMO play it as you like and post whatever you want. There are rules and ignore features. EOS

Right call but early. Drops now with markets, gold and sector. Buy when less than $8. Patience. Gold could head down below $1000 and take down manyow grade situations.

That is the bottom line, I agree. This is far from a sell here, it is an incredible buy, IMO. The irony I mentioned, is that when I bought the shares for $1.86 I simply asked myself, what are the chances here and now for a three to four bagger now, as against the same a couple of days ago? The answer, IMO is that it may actually be a bigger chance now than previously, because it is so undervalued. The price had already come down, IMO, to largely discount success in the trial results released, and after that it has been discounted way below value, as I see it. Play it as you like. That is my opinion, and I invest on that.

Smart money buys from dumb at these prices.

There has been no surprise here. The latest outcome we waited for was always at risk, as was pointed out by me and many others. Result it dropped a couple of dollars. Now: it is undervalued, and still with great potential. If you like the potential, you hold or buy, IF you are able to handle the risk. Put another way, this situation, has irony. It now appears way undervalued (to me) in relationship to almost any biotech in this sort of position. What is that position? Cash on hand, multiple trials ongoing, some of which could yield very high returns IF results good. That is the case with biotech. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE with ANY of them, and thus you have to stand back and try to be objective. I see this as opportunity, when I look forward, its that simple. I do NOT look back, I do not try and blame and rationalize. Its SIMPLE. The trial did not prove up. Now the question is will the rest prove up. I think there is an excellent chance, AND the price now is CHEAP. IMO EOS

I bought yesterday. I agree, it is so undervalued, IMO, of course it can get more unervalued, but represents very good risk vs reward for this sector at these prices. People are so emotional. They seem to have difficulty viewing situations objectively, so for example here and now, many will pull out at lows, and strangely put that money into other situations with greater risks now, in same sector. Do whatever folks, but try and be objective.

    How to Beat the Market

Well, of course today was bad. It was always going to be if results were not good. I got this wrong on the core holdings here after a great trading streak. No point in moaning, the question now is buy, sell, hold. Ironical as it is, myview currently, is that at this price now is discounting too much. It could go lower, it could fail further. However that is the case with ALL of these situations. So, i actually picked up some shares today at $1.86

You are right. I only mention the record in answer to false statements by obvious shorts here trying to scare folks into selling. Anyone long here should be fully aware of the risks vs rewards in this sector and here specifically. If the potential for good results were not present, leading to huge upside with extra fuel present thanks to shorts, i for one, would not be here. But the fact is, that is the situation. I like the odds. I fully expect volatility, but with an upside bias off the lows, which is exactly what is going on now. Are we in the home stretch? I think so. Will we get a winning finish? Stay tuned. But if we do, this will gap up big time, giving longs huge profits.iMO

  • I have had100% winning trade record here, going back about two years. Right now, i am locked, loaded and long. My last buy turn was near lows after selling above 6 and advising to wait till it dropped back. All before, not after price moves, lest some forget. Now. Being short here is just nota smart investment on a risk vs reward basis, regardless of outcome. This is a great speculative long play however. IMO most shorts here are late and probably very wrong. IMO

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I am here for the trial news at this time. Since i am speculating on positive outcomes, the bigger the short positions the better, and irony is, that is true now whether results good or bad. Why? Shorts have to cover, even if hedging, their stock is not getting sold, it already is, in a sense. The net effect. Rockets stock on good news, cushions drops. Crazy to take or hold naked short positions in a stock like this now. There are so many overpriced momentum stocks out there now, that could come down in any correction, and are far better risk vs reward shorts. This should get exciting over next short while. Upside is huge downside less.IMO play it as you like. I am a happy long, and even like pattern of late. Looks ready to gap up, in my opinion.

Never post your bids on this one, just jump in when you feel the price is right for you. This is a #$%$ shoot, at best. Could rocket or go broke. Take your pick.IMO Now I will say buy. No, but a further decline in the Russian economy, democratic rights and continued stupidity is apparent. The mass of sheeple there looks obvious. As Putin mourns the loss of billions of dollars, out of his ten of billions in net worth, the average citizen loses jobs and whatever they have left from the shambles of the Russian economy. Russia is a bad joke, with Putin the head puppet master failing on ALL fronts except of course his popularity. Go figure. Dumb is what dumb gets, and Russians sure look to learn that again.
Here: stand aside unless a REAL long term investor. Things could get shaky all around, and this will certainly go along with emotional investing as has been the case for weeks now. IMO of course.

  • Unless of course they are a close little group helping themselves. Didn't they said they were seeking "shareholder value". Now that is a joke, given this deal.LOL Since when do you sell a company way below its current market cap, screwing all the current shareholders who held on expecting more from these "managers/executives/BOD" in getting value? You really have to laugh at these sorts of deals. The only question is how many votes do they have in their pockets, and what side deals to benefit them from this deal exist. Stay tuned, but do not believe a thing they say! IMO of course. I sold a while back here, as I did not like the pattern or news, plus the run up seemed ahead of itself, which, I suppose was true, given the selling price. When will the SEC EVER protect shareholders in these sorts of deals??? Who made the money on the spike up, and did any sell KNOWING this was coming????

Because the stock ran ahead of itself on the hype. It is a great company, well managed, with growth and potential. However when stocks like this run up too fast, they often, especially if the markets correct overall fall very rapidly for a number of reasons: Profit taking, margin calls on late buyers at top, and market sentiment swings(emotions). Play it as you like, but the possibility of sharp drops here, vs much big upside for the next short while seem probable.IMO Long term, great, but it is amazing how many people will buy at tops, say they are long term, but then do just the opposite and sell when these drop, and of course, probably at the bottom. Point is, IF you are going to sell if it drops back big, then do it now.IMO

  • beststockstoownnow by beststockstoownnow Aug 28, 2014 12:38 PM Flag

I think by smart money. Take your pick, (smart money buying or dumb?) but being short a stock which could rise multiples in price, meaning $10+ rise, vs drop 2 to 3 dollars, and this could happen at any time from buyout offer, or news on multiple trials, is not smart.IMO Especially when you see every share lately offered being bought, in what appears to be desperate attempts at times to hold/push this down, yet stock kept stable.IMO All those shorts out there: you have got to hope for bad news, because any good news and this will move up and catch you, plus it will drive buyout offers for sure.IMO

Oh my, I am soooo worried about those big logs! You still do not get it. Some of us traded this for a long time, we did well, while accumulating core positions at now no real cost or very low ACB. Now we watch as fools like you try and convince people of short and long ter outcomes, which in reality you have absolutely no clue about, one way or the other. It is VERY simple at this juncture. Results good, stock gaps up huge. Not good it drops back, but not to zero. i wait for results, and am long. IF right I win big, if wrong to date still might be positive. In any case, i wait for outcomes, while you get it wrong daily it seems! Blither on. Are you sure those logs are not stuck somewhere closer to home for you?..LOL
