This is precisely the type of "baiting" that has driven so much of the content on this board for ages.
Don't blame me for responding.
If you go back and read the prior 20-F's section devoted to listing importance, NEWL clearly understood its NASDAQ listing was crucial to its restructuring process. It was also crucial to Zolotas who owned like 47% of shares outstanding at that time. That document clearly acknowledges the liquidity and capitalization advantages of remaining on NASDAQ v. OTC.
I have no crystal ball and, yes, I suppose it is possible to get above the $1 NASDAQ listing threshold in a slow climb-out in recovery. But past action has been to r/s to elevate S/P, just as FreeSeas just recently went through. Sorry, but I think it is likely to occur. Sorry... I know that's not what you wanted to hear.
I suspect a r/s will required to regain listing thresholds. Hate to admit it, but such is the damage that some one or some group has done to degrade his company's prospects.
You are entitled to your opinion, but had you researched the company's 20-F filings going back two years as I have, you would comprehend the company's deep commitment to maintaining exchange listings and especially its previous NASDAQ tier. There is a reason why I believe an uplist is an absolute imperative for management.
This board is largely populated by "experts" that level very serious charges against this company, but have either never read their public filings... or just choose to ignore the parts that don't suit their negatively biased agenda.
I think "the inquiries" may have diminished enthusiasm for unbridled bashing, but that is only a guess.
GLTA. Hoping this investment will see better days ahead. If not, I bought it and I own it.
Why is there a scam? Who is participating in the scam? What is the nature of the scam? Who is benefitting from the scam?
Please enlighten us all.
Strange that CQP often trends with nat gas when its business is a different model targeting liquefied NG for export. But I appreciate today's gain o an otherwise down day.
Divvies upcoming. NICE!
Yup, the Newlead website shows a Greece phone # for Elisa Gerouki so I guess something maybe has changed. Thanks, all, for the input.
Elisa, Newlead's investor relations person, is based in Bermuda. This PR was evidently issued by the IR team. I wouldn't read a lot into it. JMHO.
LOL. We al know you are being facetious because you surely don't have $1,800 to your name.
Whose "end" is near? All this cryptic stuff contributes very little to any useful interpretations or conclusions of value to any NEWL investor.
Consider Newlead stock on its merits and liabilities, not on the bashing of a few trolls.
Your company is in conservatorship and the government has the right to do whatever they want.
Next time around, try not to fail and require a taxpayer-funded bailout.
Thank in advance.
M. launderer, please have the guts to reply to my very fair question. I bared my soul in answering the same question.
