Good point. Extension rate is most likely already negotiated in the contract. Be hell of a thing if it was not. Imagine renegotiating at the last minute.
Sorry, I made the mistake of assuming a previous poster had gotten info from his broker. Really did not check it out-as I should have-as I could not find it either upon checking.
Down about $128k as I did take a couple of big hits in the energy MLP's and off shore drilling Companies. In reflection the only way I saved my butt from additional big-time losses was the ability to double down near the bottoms. The oil scenario I must admit caught me flat footed and I did not jump out fast enough. Apparently, a sector panic has no rational thought and does not care if a company is hedged, in natural gas or pays a whooping divvy as they all took a beating. How about you yourself you doing "OK".
Tempted to buy additional shares at $17.00 range to average down from $19.50. Unfortunately, just can't pull the trigger. Maybe I am just a little gun shy after recent events although 3rd quarter results should be fine. Am I the only one with a somewhat positive attitude?
These analysis are always last one to the game. Probably help's for a little push but, lately it seems like upgrades and such kind of fall on deaf ears and have little or no effect on the pps.
You are so right. I read in the last report somewhere that they were moving away from OCN and gathering other outside business so I put the OCN relationship on the back burner. I assume that has not transpired from what info I gathered recently.
I assume you are short here. Can't say I blame you. Unfortunately, I have never been a fan of shorting. It kind of goes against my DNA but, maybe I am going to have to try using the technique to round out what little skills I have. Basically, I am an income investor trying to live off SS and divvy's.
We are being punished for the sins of OCN. I guess since they are our major mortgage supplier we must share their stock price decline. Guilt by association. It does not make sense to me but, it is what it is. Maybe this is another golden buying opportunity.
Hate to say it clrodrick but, I have a feeling that you are the only sane poster on this board. A couple of these people must have been buggered badly by Ocwen or just recently escaped from the loony bin. Enjoyed the movie and just can't wait for the sequel to come out.
clrodrick, You are soo correct. This site seems to be festering with the comic delight of the moronic and apparently now homeless screwballs from the loony bin.
sglud, Apparently, you are another who has been foreclosed on. I can understand your anger and the need to lash out at the company in any way you can but, unfortunately, I do not look upon this company as a social service for the poor and disfranchised but.as a business. The only reason I visited here is because I own HLSS stock and apparently what happens here effects that stock's pps.. Personally, I would not invest in this mess. I also wish you well and hope that you recover or have recovered from your financial problems and are again on the road to success.
Wow, this company must have foreclosed on a lot of you folks . I guess this is as good a place as any to take out your frustration.
They would have to be real stupid to knowing do it while they were being monitored by NY state.
You sir, must be one of those who lost their house or a blooming idiot. In both cases I feel sorry for you. It must be terrible to be in those situations. Fortunately, one you can fix but, the other you will have to live with.
