I used the number that BGMD's website said to use under Mayo Clinic. I spoke to a very nice woman, and asked how much $ to have the test done. She said 107.00 $. Then I asked apx time for the test results . She said 1-7 days. I told her I was trying to find out how many times the test has been performed or had been ordered. She could not answer that..Anybody else ever called a clinic that is on BGMD'S website that they say these clinics perform the test?
I told her that I had invested in the company that developed the test '' BGMD'' and that Abbott Labs had gotten a FDA approval for the automated version recently. She did not say if it was the automated version. I guess I should have asked differently. She did ask me who or what firm I was with also. That's when I told her I was a investor trying to get info on how many times this test may have been performed or if was a popular test. She could not say. I also have sent a email to my doctor to see if they perform this test, cause I asked my insurance (BC/BS) if this test was covered. they said my doctors office has to provide the code they use for the test and have the code fowarded to my insurance to determine coverage. I kinda expect my PCP to ask me why I want this test done. I'm over 55 so I am curious what this test may reveal , but I wonder if he has even heard of it..
I got a reply from my doctors office staff yesterday saying my doctor wants to further research the g3 test before giving me any codes that I could pass on to bc/bs for coverage of the test. Makes me think he has not heard of the test. I like my doctor, I believe he is looking out for me. How many others have asked their doctors if they have heard of it?
I don't know,, but the fact that my own doctor has said he wants to research this test says a lot to me. I think I will call one of our 3 major hospitals where I live and see if they have or have not heard of the test.
Were there any good questions asked? I heard one question about Cardio score,, which I knew was shelved back in August of 2013. Some people think its still being pursued. Its not..
I went to Benzinga to try and find out,, even joined site,, still cant find out what this means.
thanks for the reply.. I don't understand why benzinga makes these releases with no story behind it.
shareholder votes? I never got anything in the mail or the web on shareholder voting for anything ever. I have had this since 2013.
It would be a b/s move just to hold onto a Nasdaq listing. jmho The value of the company does not change, SO why do it? News does nothing for the share price They have a hard enough selling shares to us stuckholders as it is
What has this stock gained since going on Nasdaq? Its laughable.. All the news we have gotten on so called potential of their G3 test and it falls on it's fat #$%$. My Dr. never heard of it,, Blue Cross never heard of it when I asked them in a letter if they would cover the test. They passed it off to my Doc's recommendation. To reverse split this just to hold onto that listing to us stuckholders should be considered criminal. The company has earned nothing, not lived up to potential on it's own merits. This barely sells in the 60-70 cent range, it's not gonna move when and if after the split when it's 4-5$. ***** the listing. OH, and that proxy vote b/s, vote ''FOR'' or ''ABSTAIN'' .Why even bother putting it to a vote when ta can't lose you're position... Sly fox
Now that they got AWAY with another split. I say 2 months another 40-50 million will be added to existing share(notes) base.. 1 DOLLAR is my limit
Can't get this up even with a crane. I feel so bad I invested in this turd and for the rest of us that invested.
If bgmd made up the kits and HDL bought them pre Abbott Automation, how is it done now. Does Abbott make the kits now or BGMD ''if it's still done that way""? Next step, do the Heart Hospitals ,labs, clinics ,whatever, have to buy the automated units (machines) to perform the new version of the test. That's if anyone ever orders it.
