I have not followed it thanks for up date! I was much more interested in a take over or by out when we were around 15. I wonder if any questions regarding this will come up in the June meeting ?

When the U.S. Navy and NASA approached Energy Focus on the R&D of alternative energy efficient lighting sources, not only were awarded the DARPA contract but from there, also gained great insight on the impact of LED lighting on energy efficiency.
2:30PM – 3:30PM - Mechanics of (T)oday's LED – "See the Gut of Quality"
Constantly at the forefront of pushing the barriers on industry standards and regulations: our best-in-class TLEDs ranges from 120lm/W to 150lm/W with more performance values added including flicker-free and effective heat dissipation circuitry. This all contributes to a well-designed system that operates great thermal management that results in a much longer product lifetime
3:30PM – 4:00PM – Healthy Lighting – "The Shocking Discovery of Lighting and Health"
Even though you don’t see it, both fluorescents and most LED lights flicker at rates that seem imperceptible to the eye. The brain has simply taught the eye to code the signal as continuous. Nevertheless, this flickering does exist and has been scientifically proven to cause headaches and learning disabilities.

Mel ,James did say Bridgestone in PR .I believe last quarter he would not say the name of the company. The Bridgestone deal is huge. I hope they go after other tire makers also.
Thanks Mel, they are kings of PR . I do wish We would see more PR and had said sometime ago he would do more with news up date then was done before with Joe. I don't see much difference.
I did not mention I was talking about the Navy ships!
In CC was nice ti hear James say he does not know why there is talk about other lighting companies working on replacing lighting. He said Energy Focus is the only company and he knows of no other competitor !!
Next week, Energy Focus will be attending Sea Air Space 2016 in Washington DC. If you're attending the show, stop by booth #1049 and learn how our TLEDS have been revolutionizing the Military since 2012!

An under-$10 consumer goods player that's starting to spike within range of triggering a near-term breakout trade is Energy Focus (EFOI - Get Report) , which designs, develops, manufactures, markets, sells and installs energy-efficient lighting systems primarily in North America. This stock has been hit hard by the bears over the last six months, with shares off large by 54.4%.

If you look at the chart for Energy Focus, you'll notice that this stock has been downtrending badly over the last two months, with shares falling sharply off its high of $13.80 a share to its new 52-week low of $5.68 a share. During that downtrend, this stock has been making mostly lower highs and lower lows, which is bearish technical price action. That said, shares of Energy Focus ripped sharply higher on Wednesday off that $5.68 low with strong upside volume flows. Volume for that trading session registered over 560,000 shares, which is well above its three-month average action of 305,347 shares. That high-volume move to the upside is now quickly pushing this stock within range of triggering a near-term breakout trade.

Market players should now look for long-biased trades in Energy Focus if it manages to break out above some near-term overhead resistance levels at $6.60 to $7 a share with high volume. Look for a sustained move or close above those levels with volume that hits near or above its three-month average action of 305,347 shares. If that breakout takes hold soon, then this stock will set up to re-test or possibly take out its next major overhead resistance levels at its 20-day moving average of $7.57 to $8, or even its 50-day moving average of $8.20 to $8.50 a share.
Traders can look to buy Energy Focus off weakness to anticipate that breakout and simply use a stop that sits right below its new 52-week low of $5.68 a share. One can also buy this stock off strength once it starts to trend back above those breakout levels with volume and then simply use a stop that sits a comfortable percentage from your entry point.
