"Charles Duncan, managing director and senior biotechnology analyst at JMP Securities, said that, because of the marketing effort, Orexigen may have a better idea of what programs resonate with clients when the drug eventually goes to market. He said this was a hidden benefit of having to complete a cardiovascular clinical trial.
Mr. Duncan added that, while it may seem Orexigen is at a disadvantage by being last to the market, an opportunity exists to pick up business as consumers test various treatments. He predicted Orexigen's treatment will be the most broadly used of the three because patients will respond to the drug's combination of an antidepressant and a weight-loss treatment.
Mr. Duncan estimated the three treatments can each record revenue of roughly $1 billion annually."

"O’Neill, 54, said his strongest hunch is that China’s inflation may be close to easing, meaning the Chinese stock market may “go crazy” in the second half of the year. The central bank yesterday raised banks’ reserve requirements by half a percentage point to lock up cash that threatens to fuel gains in consumer prices."
GS starting to cover their short position ahead of earnings. These guys are playing both sides of trade while sticking it to the retailer.
Notice the timing of this downgrade…just before earnings. This creates uncertainty, which increases volatility. GS shorted between $65 & $70 to get in a quick short scalp.
