Numbers are not clear and concise.
I randomly enter into a discussion with anyone. I like to start the discussion then leave out the side door.
Now, I have to go to work. Have a nice day
your risk is buying AAP at a 20% market discount in the future.
Now, I did say close these out on SEp 10..when AAPL hit $103...I do not know what the prices were for I was using my MIRO Strategy
pocketing a $10 tax deferred cash waiting to buy AAPL at $80.
If AAPl does not dip below $80..you keep the $10 and must pay taxes the third week of Jan 2016 or when you close these out
This was Sep 6th a few days later...the paper profit fell below $30.
but this is all tax deferred cash....Do not pay taxes until trade is closed out
AAPl ran way past the "giveaway"...strike price+ premium. So, I thought .." no sense chasing AAPL. Why not pocket the lost paper profit by using the newRenoir Strategy."
Being targeted my HEDGE FUNDS, I thought...Why not use the NEW Miro Strategy..?
Count your blessings,,,I am semi- gone but always watching..It's my hobby
typo...on Aug 17 the open interest was 16,018....it was 20% lower than today's open interest of 20,000. This means many were selling these between $8.50 to $10, as suggested
Last week, i had to give an eulogy but God took away my voice the night before...this was an omen.
A recap of the original ides the open interest is only 18,018 down20% from present level.
TRhe price was $9.35 down from $10 but higher than present level of $7.85
Open interest represent the number of active contracts while the price is the bid/ask.
As for the pricing..?
Never sell on the bid but ask. Never buy on the ask but sell. Make the market maker reign in his spread
Two different numbers representing two different items.
open interest is the number of put contracts active.
the $7.85 is the price of the put.
Rather than attacking you should pick up a book and read
I think this play makes a lot of sense. you either pocket $10 a share or buy the stock at $8- or pre-split $560
