Our giant store was also a ghost town with empty parking lot. It is mostly appliances and big screen TV's now. No recent newer apple products are sold here. They don't know about when Samsung is suppose to arrive. Just say come back next Thursday and check. Sort of reminds me of the final days of Circuit City.

All the empty stores sort of reminds me of the final days of Circuit City. You can get stuff online from amazon or ebay for 1/2 price of what BBy sells. No brainer!

Multiple stores within a store. I believe the new guy with JCP is trying this concept. I know BBY already has an Apple area in their store but they never seem to have any of the new Apple products for sale.

I bought some call options yesterday! Hopefully after the first of the year tax selling will abate and good holiday sales will reverse the down trend and it can start moving up again. Also several new products to be introduced in the near future. I think earnings should be good due to xmas sales of their exsisting products.

I went to my local Best Buy and there were a few cars in the parking lot but once inside I noticed everybody was scaning the bar codes on different items with their cell phones but not buying anything. I asked about the Ipad mini and they said they were were expecting another shipment on Thursday and to check back then. I noticed that a hugh part of the present day stores are set up for applicance and television sales. I think they sell more phones than anything.

I still can't put anything in my shopping bag online even though I am registered and signed in. They call me by my first name but yet won't let me put anything in my shopping bag. How frustrating. I have been trying now for weeks. I guess they don't want my business.
Has anyone else had this problem online?
