Southwestern to split up package in effort to sell
Southwestern Energy is breaking up a package of five explor-ation plays that it had previouslyoffered as a unit to international investors after failing to receive acceptable bids as a whole.The US natural gas giant is now marketing the assets from the package individually, according to sales documents seen by Upstream.At the time that it was proposed by former chief executive Steve Mueller, Southwestern was looking to sell between a third to half.
