already up 50 cents..woohoo.....I .hope SLW stays under 12 the rest of today, I sold calls at 12 due today. SLW is going to feast on Glencore carrion like a hungry vulture. Many a desperate miner is selling gold and siver forward at give away deals..sad, but good for SLW's future metal flow.
alot of those shares were covered calls at 3 and 3.5, they will be called in, not everyone will have to chase to cover. But, this is a nice little reverse going here. I agree it falls short of $4
got a gold bull horn hooking you in the rump, better jump off before he really drives it home
good call...I bought 1000 @2.40 and sold 10 calls due tomorrow @ 3. So I'd made a quick 30%. I like to go in an out on these etfs....they are not made for long term hold because of the decay
"til god breaks through"........ cool...divine interference in the market, kinda like super-Fed
looks like you called it, I bought it 1000 shares right there as I agreed with you...where you see this goin? I lookin for close to 3.5 for exit this trade
I guess youre right...where there is smoke, there must be fire and there sure are a lot of big law firms smoldering on this one. they have a nose for blood, and, just by the weight of them all piling on, SLW is dragged down to further loss, bigger damages etc etc... hoping for a reversal may be wishful.thinking..a settlement at best, which allows the company to live on and eventually prosper
I was just sued for 1/2 million by AIG ins corp, but I won, fighting by myself without a lawyer, it can be done, but rarely, lawyers when they latch on, want to get paid.
so alexco closed their Bellekeno mine that had costs of 16.10 oz......ok....what happens when silver is $25-30 oz again and this mine opens back up.....doesn't SLW stream begin again? or are you saying this assset is a completewrite down forever?
what happens, if by the time this gets to court, slw is 20 a share? what happens if slw wins in a reduction of tax bill or is upheld in tax court or settles? What happens if canada realizes they don't want to drive this corp out of canada to a headquarters in barbados?
Stocks plummeting mean margin calls...margin calls mean even your good stuff you wanna keep gets sold off to pay what you borrowed on bum stock.....you may love your GLD and miners, but you lose it all because all those blue chip oil stocks you bought on credit went down.
just what I'm debating, should I jump in late?..I thinking.the big move already happened, lots of amatures(likeu and me) will jump in mon to pile on, and get caught in a bounceback rally, they'll get scared out, losing 1/2 their money.....then the move down will proceed, after they are burned and stripped out of the market..again they'll see the move they weren't in on and try to jump in.....its tough to be first on a big short, it also hard to catch a falling knife
depends on volatility durring that time...if it goes up and down $5 while avg 40 it will deteriorate quickly whereas if it stays right @40 it wouldn't change much at all
how'd that work out? did you bail out of that trade in time or lose 45%? the worst is when youdouble down triple down because you "know it will turn"
EXACTLY nugt it just my farm, the crops grow, I harvest, I thrown the profit in my silo...in REAL gold.
this my go 20% vertical today....then will get slapped down, as usual, then I plant again, then harvest againetc etc rinse repeat,,,mining for gold
my profit up from 3.77 is about 1 oz of REAL gold. thats where you have to store your profits....the illusory paper/digital weath you generate here can go puff in a heart beat....or my not really be real to begin with, cash out of the ponzi every once in a while and hold REAl.
I do the same with about 30% of my position, however I remove 50% of the profits to purchase physical silver and gold. rather than plowing all back into more stock You may not really own what your broker reports to you you have on the computer screen.....it can all go away in a hurry....remove about 10% of your assets and put it into physical metal insurance, held in a safe place, or a foreign vault
