Don't get the results in revenue without a game plan. Ivan is sharing the game plan with potential investors. Don't see anything wrong with that. He is communicating, in English. Whether by PowerPoint or 1 on 1 conference, doesn't matter.

But a Velti or M&M AND AUGME me can be purchased buy one of the major players tomorrow if they wanted ; Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Facebook, Qualcomm.. With all of these company's diminished stock price,( us velti mm) maybe buy 2 of the 3 OR EVEN ALL 3 by a major player is not out of the question... Pull a Michael Corleone and settle all family business with one fell swoop. that may sound a little extreme, but if your Yahoo or Microsoft and looking to get ahead of the next paradigm shift like they did 15-20 years ago, and had the money to do it, you would have to think about pulling the trigger.. pardon the pun.

MG, I agree with you it would be smart for them to do that but I don't think it's going to happen. There is no way they're going to make an offer acceptable to us. And what is acceptable to us, their Board will not allow that offer. JMO

Granny I believe you to be spot on. I don't think we will see a lot of buying on speculation. I think that " speculation" was ruined by the Spero ruling and the collapse of the NPE deal.. investors want to actually see it first hand before they dive in again.. you can't blame them.. fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me... I believe once we make a deal with a NPE, and Hipcricket becomes a pure play and with their revenue ramping up, we will see a lot of action with this company..

Speaking of the Fool, it amazes me we are not a Rule Breaker yet.. I believe we fit the criteria for that quite nicely.. however, with Ivan at the helm and this new paradigm shift which we seem to be leading, though maybe not in size or revenue terms, we will be making our own "Rules." Just a matter of time.

Adam, by reading this post of yours you may have inadvertently answered my question from a previous post which I asked of you. if they are pursuing this" lending Avenue", sounds to me like they are not thinking of selling the entire portfolio for a lump sum and being done with it... with no debt on our books, a small loan to facilitate their strong growth needs and still have a stake in the IP down the road probably makes a lot of sense.

Adam, appreciate your posts as always. Do you think there's any chance they could sell the entire portfolio for a lump sum?? I would have to assume that option is on the table though maybe not their first choice. As you pointed, a deal with a NPE and 1200 infringers, even a 250,000 dollar licensing fee, that money would add up quickly. However, we know there are maintenance fees with new patents that will be issued and we are not free and clear from the financial expense and the perception that Hipcricket is a " pure play."... I believe there are 2 schools of thought. 1, if we get a substantial lump sum for the entire portfolio and completely extricate ourselves from the financial expense of trying monetize them at the expense of growing Hipricket, we could actually grow HC exponentially which we would have total control over instead of relying on third parties; other lawyers and CEOs of other companies which we don't really have control over.. We could actually reach our end result with a huge infusion of cash to HC now and let them grow the business as opposed to licensing the patents and getting the same amount of money 6 quarters from now... Or number 2; the best case scenario IMO is enough money up front from an NPE to grow HC enough to satisfy Ivan and the other board members and still have a stake in the IP down the road which I think many long term shareholders feel is very substantial and I believe would appreciate since we were all here for the IP to begin with... Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions as always..

MrAdagio, couldn't agree more. There are plenty of traders now back in this thing. Cindy in Cincinnati etc. With all of these conferences going on you knew their was going to be a nice bump. People are taking advantage of that and if that is their thing, you can't blame them.. I think the backlog numbers, enthusiasm, and perception has definitely shifted in our favor.:)

Jimrob, thank you for the kind words..I am one small cog on a very special board about a special company..All the guys who post here have a strength and a niche: the mobile space, numbers, IP, etc.. some guys are schooled on many of those topics.. A guy or 2 may " hear things"... some guys try to be funny and are terrible at it..lol.. whatever it is, there is definitely some synergy here.. once the mobile sector starts cranking and we get a NPE deal, we will be on everyone's radar and then this board will REALLY be alot of fun.. I would mention Jason and Siri but if I say any more nice things about those guys people are going to start to talk..lol

Great find Mits.. This board is really cranking now... just a year ago or so there were 640 infringers. Now there are over 1200. Do you think we could have 1500 to 2000 infringers in the next year or so??? Especially as more companies move to mobile or start up as mobile.. obviously not knowing the space as well as others on this board, the numbers would say that is a possibility...

Jason, just reread your original conversation with James. You obviously put in a lot of time and thought and effort to affectively articulate your well reasoned thoughts and ideas.. I think I can speak for everyone on this board and say that you are a major asset to this board and we are glad we're on the same team.. I hope they actually implement your ideas..

No surprise they liked your ideas Jason.. James also called me back yesterday about the premium publisher partner subject... he actually got me at a bad time because I was driving home from work and the rush hour on Long Island is a nightmare. but what I gathered a premium publisher is just that: a publisher that is a household name "like" a New York Times or a Forbes magazine. He did not say those were our accounts, but names like that. he didn't give me any names of publishers that we're dealing with it because he wasn't positive offhand or we have an NDA agreement with them. said something about us helping them contextually with their proprietary information by placing ads.... there is more to it than that and it's all good. James is really cool ,open, and very smart. If anyone wants to call him, he will be more than happy to talk to you... I told him this board is full of very intelligent people and major shareholders as well...:)

Adam, you said Ivan has high integrity and passion. That passion has been handcuffed sitting next to Paul Arena for too long!! I have seen him up close and personal at 2 shareholder meetings and could tell his enthusiasm was tempered next to the CEO who is mumbling. Ivan was playing good soldier... now he is going to be playing Great General!!!

When we vote down the low ball offer, if anyone wants to sell their shares, we will have a new bottom at that price.. you can sell out then privately. Don't vote to sell the whole company.. A nice new bottom without liposuction!!!
