This was very informative and the guy explains why GM and Ford work. The reason we don't win contracts, is that GM had a structure, that wanted the PM and the Coating seprate bids. CDTI makes money by saving the PM and GM had a hang up there. However the new CEO in ML guy and he has new views and actually has down some financing for CDTI when he was with Merriel. Ford was a similar story.
The reason CDTI didn't win new contracts, was also do to scale. They want you in their back yards and that takes huge capital outlays. Interesting discussion this presenter goes into and better light on the things CDTI has to deal with. I like that they are now looking at this as Chemistry driven future growth.
I think we have different opinions on hep-B as profitable? I'm sure you meant that it's a revenue generator. They lost money last year and will continue to bleed until they get FDA approval. I think the big story here is the Graf Host drug and the possibility of BTD after PH1.
As a Hep-b drug they have to price it compared to Emergix (spelling?) and it costs us more to make our product. I don't think any one here has a clear understanding of the path the FDA will require. I just hope that Sci-vac doesn't P through the $19M in cash.
Anyone notice how he now calls it the Russell index and not the Russell 2000 index. Dbtunr you are so clueless, it's not funny. Just like last year this was a non event for CDTI, the reshuffle will also be a non invent.
The Russell index is 4000 companies by market cap-which CDTI is included. But the Russell index doesn't include CDTI. The best part is how GS attached his lips to your hind end one more time. Gilligan is always there to rush in and validate stupid. Just like he rushed in and claimed RVM was a solid investment. He was there for the stupid comments about prepaids and FX issues.
We need smarter bashers, this group is too stupid to investigate anything they post. But lowlifes do flock together. We are going to need a bigger crow bar to detach GS lips. You cannot make this stuff up.
Is the low price of gas helping the CA economy. With gas here in Fl at $2.65 a gallon, I was looking at an investment in CA that should see some savings from the lower fuel costs. What are your views about CA economy. Thanks.
No top 100 company got where they are without dilution. Are 14M shares enough shares for institutions to want in? They buy companies with 100M+++++++++++ shares in the float. CDTI is too small a float and this was the plan. First you get your patents, then you test and then you light the fuse. If the testing comes back that they can save the industry 87% of their PM costs and @ the same time show emission improvements in cold starts and hot running temperatures. I also believe that cdti can show a environment benefit, in that the by product of using PM and Chromium hex, can be eliminated.
Expect some news soon. The conference in Japan is right around the corner. They already have Honda on board for diesel, what happens when Toyota and Honda shift to a full fleet. Best part CDTI is willing to share the powder coating. So no large production issues or cost outlays for additional capacity.
Should we both now make claims of ownership that we cannot support? Spanspur, you are a weasel of a man. You have had opportunities to show that anything about you is real.
They could have no hopes of raising $50M, unless they have some strong news to support it. I know I have seen this before, not so sure you have. GM needs to say that our 2017 or 2018 cars will be equipped with the spinel technology, starting with our turbo charged.
I believe this was the signal to the smart money, you better start loading up. I look for GM to break the news on testing results. I would not rule out a large company like Cummings to also have some data. Just the perception on growth is all a $2 stock needs. A double on revenues, get's us to breakeven. If they can cut out $600K in R&D at the same time, we are looking at $600K positive quarter and $2.4M in earnings.
Just like the CEO stated.....STAY TUNED.
A few years back, I heard the third tallest tree in the world was blown over. I told a friend and this is a true story, his reply back, "that was a sure break for number four."
How does that relate here. Well with dbtunr around, Rayonman claim that CDTI patents could be challenged by a biotech and today, dbtunr claiming that CDTI is part of the Russell 2000, well I think dbtunr is trying to give rayonman a break. Still got to work at it dbtunr, the Russell although BS, ray still holds the title. You will have to sink real low to knock ray off the perch.
But then again, dbtunr, spanspur and rayonamn and GS are all the same dope.
Unlike dbtunr and GS I double check my figures and verify that I'm giving accurate posts.
How many cars are produced in the world every year?
In 2012, for the first time in history, over 60 million cars passenger cars will be produced in a single year (or 165,000 new cars produced every day).
There is a website that shows the counter on new vehicles. So far they are up to 27M this year. I was off by 20M vehicles, but I also didn't allow for how many trucks are produced. So think, I'm still in the ball park.
Dbtunr still not apologize for his stupid Russell 2000 prediction. The one thing you never hear from the bashers, is that they made a error. Dbtunr still believes that prepaids are a bad sign. That FX issue will not hurt his investments. That having GS lips attached to his hinney, is his birth right.
About 5 grams. They build 80M cars a year. That is 400M grams. An ounce of PM is about 28.5 Grams. They use about 14M ounces of PM a year. Take the average cost of around $800 an ounce. That is about $11B in PM costs. Exactly what CDTI put out last week in the presentation.
The volume per car isn't all that great, but the shear volume is what the industry has to deal with. I think it helps that the filters only use 4-5 grams. This works out to $142 per filter in PM. CDTI could ask for $42, 30% of this cost and maybe $10 extra for the coater's and the industry saves $90 a filter. Multiply that by 80M and you have about $7B savings.
The key here, is to meet the tier 3, manufactures are having to use more and more metals. Specially the turbo chargers. STAY TUNED.
They would not be this bold to ask for this much, without some very good news. A $50M dilution would destroy this company at $2 a share. But at $10 this is a walk in the park. The shear magnitude of this, is what you should know could not happen without big news. They could not pull off a fraction of this without some kind of large contract. If they had asked for $5M, I would be worried. But they had to get the approval of the other creditors, so news has to be bigger then $50M contract. China deal maybe?
I would watch tomorrow for the real news and why they will need $50M.
1/3 market cap....now if you have news that will rock the markets, then you can be this bold to ask for $50M. Something big is about to land in our laps.
$50M is big, that means that news will be bigger. What if GM gives them a full line of vehicles next year. What if the DPF metallic filter is ready to be shown to the word. Something big to ask for $50M. My guess GM news is right around the corner and that news is huge.
The S-1 is about selling $50M worth of stock. If done right, they will wait to dilute after news and this allows them to work this in a method that benefits us. I saw this done on RAVE, which I cleaned up on.
$50M divided by $10 a share is only 5M shares. They know they cannot raise $50M at $2 a share. But they can at $10. There's big news coming, if they are this bold to be looking at $50M worth. If this is handled by a reliable group, you will be very happy investors.
Landing an OEM to start producing DOC filters, maybe the first step.
Steve where is your 25K share position. Could it be that you do not hold 25K like you claimed? I like how the losers are quick with mockery, but slow to validate anything they post.
I'm still waiting on Medica to bolt and for Neph to warn us in the risk CYA disclosures.
Last year explain why there was no wild action in CDTI. Simple it did not belong to the Russell 2000. LMAO that GS is too stupid to copy and paste anything from the Russell 2000. Dbtunr is sinking to a new low and that is with a board that has Spanspur on it.
As you can see, GS likes to attach his lips at the hind quarters. How come GS cannot process anything and assume dbtunr is being honest. Was dbtunr honest about pre-paids, I think GS had his lips around that BS also. How do you keep your lips moist GS. You have to get some chapping with the amount of times you crawl in bed with dbtunr.
