  • ROFL!! Give it a rest doofas. They only one you're influencing is yourself!

  • 8 hours ago: (from Barrons)

    - "From a 30,000-foot view, despite controversies around the clinical data and longer term safety, we assign a 90% chance of an overall positive vote on safety and efficacy (i.e., approval). Clearly, a positive Advisory Committee meeting (AdCom) would represent a significant derisking event, and we'd expect the stock to move higher, especially given a current 39% short interest.

The first of three potential binary events comes Friday. Friday's release of briefing documents will likely be a significant catalyst for the stock. The shares will trade freely, and we're expecting volatility; as for the actual AdCom next week, in keeping with what we've seen in the past, we'd expect trading in the stock to be halted for the entire day (assumes that the AdCom concludes near or at the market's close).

We are confident in a positive AdCom outcome. This is based on: 1) our current comfort with the totality of data from the two sets of Phase III trials run by MannKind for Afrezza; 2) prior precedent with the positive September 2005 AdCom for Pfizer's (PFE) Exubera, the first and only inhaled insulin to go before an AdCom; and 3) an overall view that the main reason the AdCom is being held in the first place is simple conservatism by new division head at FDA, given the high-profile nature of Afrezza."

Little do they know, there is no "reason" needed for whatever.... heh heh heh

I don't know, but I just did. I LOVE the volatility here. I've made money on the huge swings several times over the past year or two. Given the current outlook, I feel safer being long right now than being short. JMHO - GLTA!!

So you're saying that it's "OK" to gouge the taxpayers, because this is "free enterprise"? Let's face it, if it weren't for the insurance industry and the spreading of costs unaware to those who aren't in need from exposure, the 84k price tag would represent the demise of this company's efforts. Such was the case in Egypt, hence the 99% discounted price. Capiche?

The latest news is just too much. For those of you who haven't read, this incredibly greedy company has just revealed that Sovaldi, their decades long researched cure for Hep C ( with the significant help from American Taxpayer financed research grants), is going to be offered in Egypt at 900 dollars for the entire 3 month regimen, while the American insurance payers and private individuals are being raked over the coals for a whopping $$$ 84,000.!!!! (This against a backdrop of articles about how their magnanimous CEO just became a BILLIONAIRE - nice). But that's not even the worst of their transgressions. Gilead came upon a near 100% cure rate using Sovaldi in combination with a drug from Bristol Meyers over 3 years ago, but refused to co market with them wishing instead to come up with an adjunct drug of their own. As a result they held the cure off of the market as 40-60,000 people died of hep c related liver failure.

How disgusting and greedy can these people be? Well, obviously, if you're an American anyway - VERY VERY greedy. SHAME ON YOU GILEAD, COUNT ON THIS: THERE ARE CURRENTLY 3 COMPETING DRUGS IN LATE STAGE CLINICAL TRIALS COMING FROM OTHER COMPANIES IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS and when they do, you can. REST ASSURED, WE ARE SPREADING THE WORD; BOYCOTT GILEAD and DUMP THEIR STOCK ASAP !!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

Truthfully, I don't think it's going to unfold that way. For one thing there are already 18 million shares short the stock that don't appear to be in any hurry to cover. For another, the owners of this stock appear to be a little bit more market saavy than your run of the mill slobbermutt-buttsniffing dog. They know it's winner take all and they also know the stock's not going to be doing any real movement either way until we get the big news. The question is MAGNITUDE. Will we see a 10 point move or more as i believe? Or will it only be a couple of dollars. To a hedger, its not really a matter of which direction, but the size of the move. For the option sellers? Obviously they don't want to see anything too big, yet with todays purchase of 2700 puts in a single contract, I don't think we can quash the thought entirely. Big Bets = Strong Convicitions. 18 Mil Short? What does it all mean.
BIG BIG MOVE COMING. AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK.

THIS JUST OUT: GOOGLE HAS JUST PLUNKED DOWN 50 MILLION FOR AUCTION. C0m - with plans to use their incredible mapping application to enter the REAL ESTATE MARKET.
BE CAREFUL KIDS. THIS HIGH FLYER JUST MET REAL COMPETITION (and all this time we thought it was TRULIA).

  • in hopes of frightening people out of their stock? Then guess again - its not working.
Reason: 95% of AUDC's customers are not in Israel, they are elsewhere, and they could care less about your one sided hypocritical, lopsided and ill informed political puffery.
On the other hand, the hardware and software and the personel are created and working all over the world and function virtually anywhere (even Iran). In otherwords, even a madman like AUCHHHMINNADAGASXZOHLE and his mindless legions are unable to strike a blow to this company. PERIOD!!
GO AWAY STUPID CHILD, you are boring us!

  • They'll likely try to bring it to the nearest strike price for the close

LOL! YES!! And they would invariably spill all over the closet floor or the box they were kept in. Sometimes your creepy crawlers didn't cook long enough and they would get all sticky inside your pocket! GOOOOEY!!!
SERIOUSLY THOUGH: THIS IS A HUGE DEVELOPMENT FOR DDD, WE MIGHT EVEN CATCH UP AND SURPASS THE MARKET CAP OF THE INDUSTRIAL 3D COMPANIES ON THIS NEWS. HOLD ON TIGHTLY NOW - THE BOTTOM IS BEHIND US.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • What more could we want? This stock could easily triple over the next few weeks.

No. What the markets are saying is that idiots such as yourself, who were counting on this company to go bankrupt to accommodate your short trades, have been caught with your pants down around your ankles and a red hot poker up your bum. It's too bad but some people have to learn their lessons the hard way. So sorry.

  • No one on this mb is intelligent enough to realize the significance.
hint: it is a most positive development.
