All points true, that's why some of us point to the incompetence and over inflated self-worth of management led by Raj the SP Ripper. He's not smart enough to realize good management would increase his wealth much faster than his undeserved salary, bonuses and options.

I find it interesting that AFTER Evolmela is on the market for the entire 4th Q they see no EPS improvement. with a -1.37 for the year. What's even MORE interesting is next year they see EPS -1.14 AFTER Evol and Apaz are on the market for a year!!! I guess they are counting on Raj still being at the helm too.

7 products on the market and you can't make money?!?!?

It's hard to know what you like better. Manipulation or whining about manipulation. Both have been going on for FOUR YEARS. Take your own advice and DEAL WITH IT! No one makes you stay in a manipulated stock.

Maybe the master stroke is getting out as the stock moves to a new trough of $7-$7.50, avoiding a "dead money" period.

Maybe it's based on some years of experience here. Although I've hardly been 100% right.

Ouch, believe me I was in before and during the Evomela CRL so that was not the advice of yours that I ignored. I think it had to do with some other indicator, like option activity or the convertible notes.

There's time to get back in. I don't see $10 within 3 mo.

I'll be on the sidelines for a while

and don't try to talk me back in ouch. Last time I sold in the 7's you tried to talk me back in, and I ignored you.....uhhhhh that was well before the 4's.

Nice day. I especially like that it's not hanging around the 7.00 level with this being OEX week.

As for "I wonder how it feels to be a short right now" Tap into your mid-term memory and remember how you've felt the last 4 years on the ride from $17 to $4. Dumb comes to mind there too.

Ouch, one other exception to your list would be TA. I have another bio that's up 6.25% today based on a good chart.

    Oh BTW as I write this SPPI -2%, IBB - 1.67......no de-couple today...just sayin

  • bioblitz1 by bioblitz1 Apr 7, 2016 8:52 AM Flag

I see SPPI has pretty much fallen in lockstep with the IBB index during the rise.
I'm not complaining about ANY gain, but it would be nice to see SPPI occasionally rise on it's own. Otherwise the rise really has nothing to do with SPPI, IMO.

Anti, thanks for the heads up on the IBB you got from another board and YES that was some TA we saw! LOL

  • bioblitz1 bioblitz1 Apr 1, 2016 12:47 PM Flag

Thanks to some research yesterday I saw the SP was in the 12's prior to the Apaz failure. It hit a low of mid 9's by mid April 2012. THEN it rose to $17.05 on July 9, 2012. So in only 3 months nearly a 100% increase!!

Maybe we should pray for an Apaz rejection now, then we can get up to a double digit SP.

    JUST KIDDING

  • bioblitz1 bioblitz1 Apr 1, 2016 12:42 PM Flag

Hey cavey, yes I noticed that. I was going to ask you why you thought the current run-up seems to be sustaining, but you basically answered that.

It's hard for me to believe that shorts may be relinquishing, it's been 4 years of quite the opposite.

Up is good, let's hope for another late-day push....: - )

"underlying forces behind the drop from 12s to 7s was the mid cycle adjustment to the Fusilev revenue forecast."

MId-cycle adjustment? I would report it as "Raj gleefully announced Fusilev would have record revenue at his early March 2013 earnings CC. Then 7 to 10 days later he announced there was a stocking issue and revnue would be slashed for Fusilev".

How can you have some information that allows you to say "record revenue in 2013" then 7-10 days later you make it clear that you have no clue what your revenue is for one of your products?

The belief in the company management has still not recovered since then. Witness the underreactions for new approvals and pipeline advancments.

Oh BTW the $17 to $4 story begins at $17 not $12. I have asked a few times but only hear crickets when a plausable excuse is not forthcoming. Why $17 to $12? Shorts predated $12 SP.

wolfe, I agree shareholders shouldn't fight and shareholders should not throw out unsubstantiated fantasy thoughts as reality. They should keep their fantasy lives to themselves. I don't recall saying that cavey was not a shareholder, in fact I've called him a pump-n-slump scammer, which entails being a shareholder.

The board is here to discuss points about the company and a company that has gone from $17 to $4 in four years may have some warts. I believe they are, at the heart, problems related to incompetent, greedy self-centric management. Others seem to believe it's some hidden consipracy. Maybe you should advise your "friend" to stop fantisizing about longs who see and reflect on their impressions on past misgivings of the company (myself, baron, iome...).

I wish to see current managment usurped and warn "newbies" of what they might be gettin into.

"the only noise I hear is coming from idiots"

You have that right. Your mouth IS very close to your ears.

Noise would be someone predicting $10 on the CE-Melp NDA submission and getting squadoosh
Noise would be be someone alluding to billion dollar markets when SPPI can't even come close to maximizing ONE product they currently market. Raj in a billion dollar market is like Raj showing up at a gunfight with a toothpick as his weapon.

What makes you think I'll believe your fantasy CB now when I never have before? Reminds me of George W Bush, just keep repeating the same thing over and over again, and even moreso when it's idiotic.

    Oh I almost forgot:

"It doesn't bother me at all to have zero credibility here"... You are right...it doesn't bother me. I'm not here to earn credibility on my posts.

Well you did get something right finally, recognizing that I am a shareholder. Congrats.

I'm happy I've made money (on paper) with the recent SP rise.
    "turned the corner"
    Is that a joke?

    1) Recently we've seen that SPPI management has no clue with regards to enhancing shareholder value. Obscene bonuses after year upon year of delayed pipeline movement (remember Apaz in 2014?) and an ever declining SP.
    2) Until there is mo money in the bank with Ce-Melph being sold, where is any proof of change from the old limp along or declining revenue products?

$$$$$'s will talk, the rest is just noise and market shows us that day after day.

That's right shareholders got the documents. Why don't you quote some of the Proof of Claim document sections or the Notice of Pendency of Class Actions, Proposed Settlement, and Motion for Attorneys' Fee and Expenses enclosure Mr. I'm a shareholder?

What's the matter your little fantasy shorts rhetoric blowing up in your face?

I just got my Class documents. It says "your share of the Net Settlement Fund will depend on several things, including, how many Settlement Class Members timely send in valid Claim Forms"

So be my guest and do nothing. Bigger pie for the rest of us to split. It also says the $7 million is yet to be approved. There will be a hearing June 13, 2016 where things will be hashed out.
