More like C'est l'guerre, Borg. C'est la vie is "that's life". And, of course, you are right. That will be life. Sure hope you know what to do with all that new found wealth when it comes in. Just don't build "bigger barns". Here's a profound teaching from the Tao Te Ching, the third most published book in the world.
When the world's on the Way
They use horses to haul manure.
When the world gets off the Way
They breed warhorses on the common.
The greatest evil: wanting more.
The worst luck: discontent.
Greed's the curse of life.
To know enough's enough
Is enough to know.
Lao Tzu; #46,
(Translated by Ursula K. Le Guin She has done one of the finest jobs on the works of Lao Tzu, a twenty-year task that captures the poetry and meaning of his works. As beautiful a translation as I know.)
We could all "know enough's enough."
No, Borg, not 10's of thousands of drugstores, just thousands and thousands of eye docs who will be qualified to do the injections. And, you are right, I'm not listening right now. We'll see how MBMI does. I see it got slammed to the mat by another 10k or 12k sale. More opportunity for you, right? Carpe diem!!
"Never ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee." "Each man's death diminishes me." Two of the more pithy thoughts that humanity is all one. But we have the illusion we are not because each soul consciousness is housed in a separate skin bag. Our unconsciousness prevents us from seeing the higher level of connectedness.
Wow!! Somebody wanted out of MBMI today. Quite a few shares, too. Maybe Peter had to sell to pay his lawyers? Be gentle with Peter, he is part of thee and me.
Professor Teruhiko Wakayama, the scientist behind the recent apparent discovery of a novel way to induce pluripotent stem cells ((iPSCs)), now says the published study should be withdrawn and reanalyzed due to the emergence of mistakes.
The study was first reported on January 28 and created a global sensation because it showed that normal cells could be transformed into stem cells by dipping them in acid. Questions soon arose about certain images Prof. Wakayama used in the paper. Other research groups have been unable to reproduce her findings thereby adding to the controversy.
The situation is attracting intense media scrutiny because of another scandal that happened several years ago when a self-taught scientist with a degree in nursing treated a heart disease patient with cardiac cells derived from the patient's own iPCSs. He was eventually dismissed from his position at the University of Tokyo.

borgwater: I'm very sorry that your "DD" was so shallow. SMD is the MINOR indication that ACT's work will cure. It is AMD that is the big kahuna. 30,000,000 (that's 30 MILLION) people and rapidly increasing as the Baby Boomers age, 10,000 turning 65 PER DAY. Like everything else in their existence, they will swamp SS, Medicare, Obummercare, Medicaid, and every other social welfare and entitlement program. Being 77 in May, I've been collecting now for some time. I hope all you here keep working to support this huge cohort. So, you'd best look to your hole card.
btw, did your DD discover that the treatments of stem cells are being done at six of the most prestigious eye centers in the world? When the data comes out, which will be soon, then we'll talk about who is foolish. And 10k is not even close to how many shares I own. So, all of you nifty calculations need serious revisions. They WERE impressive, however.
Now, concerning Mr. Valentine, HE may be the reason that nothing has been shipped. So, I'm hoping he gets put in the slammer and that breaks loose a flood of barite to the port and we fulfill the long-delayed purchase order, pronto. If that happens, we may see some 'clear air turbulence' in MBMI, which would be wonderful.
Be well, all, including Borgwater AND the trolls.
Really sorry to hear that Mags. You've been with them a LONG time. And I'm glad you made good money. Better than my experience in RPTN, which should have been a stunning winner because the technology was so great. But, when you run out of money, funny things happen.
Jason, it was months ago and I don't want to take the time to look it up, exactly. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But, I remember reading it someplace. Could even have been misinformation on this board. As for ACTC, you need not worry about that company, they have a line of credit that is allowing them to move forward and a monstrous JV is very likely being negotiated as I write. I could be wrong there. But, I'm not wrong about the science. It is awesome. News is leaking out that people have had their sight restored who have AMD, an until-now incurable disease and the leading cause of blindness in the world. I predict I'll be doing better there long before I am doing better in MBMI. jmho, of course, which is what makes a horse race. A difference of opinion. Gotta go tend to the oysters.
Well, Jason, I am only going by what the company published about shipment dates. So far, they have missed two and will miss this one, too. Lowering mining costs is a good thing but according to their own statements, they already have 20 tons, minimum, on the ground and mined. No way to lower those costs, they are sunk. Best to get the income from them ASAP. So, blast away at me all you want but these delays are concerning, at least to me. And, I have been following what they have been saying and it's both precious little and not being achieved.
That "Raptor mine is now 3 miles long" reminded me of the old Boo!, Yay! joke. "I'm gonna build a house." Booo. "A house of ill repute". "Yay". "It will have one bar." Booooo! "Three miles long". Yaaaay!! And so on. It gets better and raunchier.
That's OK Borgwater, remonstrate with me as you wish. I'll still ship you the oysters if we are at or above $1 by 3/31/14. It won't be the first time I've missed a big run but all my available funds are committed, I'm afraid. Unless something very unusual happens with another major holding of mine. Then I'll have spare funds to place here. I'll ride with my Raptor disaster shares, being 1/10th of what I held there, which was substantial. My bad. And I'm not so pessimistic about getting an answer. We'll see.
You know, when someone receives a PO, they usually endeavor to fill it. I mean, that is moolah just waiting to be gathered into the till. So, as I asked David Coplet, #$%$ is holding up shipment of barite (I used nicer words, however)? Any thoughts? I also asked him if the USA was in some manner blocking the shipment.
YES, Carry, I can certainly say it!! Loud and strong. But......saying it hasn't helped me yet. But, hey, I'm hanging in. I did write David Coplet but have received nothing back as yet. I asked him what was holding up the shipment of the barite already mined and on the ground. I posited several questions, one being are they blocked by the government of Zim? It will be interesting to see if I get a response. Meanwhile, we languish.
News is coming out tomorrow, folks. Now, logically, are they going to present some guy that says "I was treated and I can't see any change"? Or, 'I was treated and it has made a slight difference"? I don't think so, folks. Instead, I think this guy or gal is going to be a home run. "I was legally blind, and now I can see and drive again." Just like the guy in Texas who went from 20/400 to 20/40. I suspect our 20/100 cohort will have absolutely mind-blowing results, with some regaining "perfect" vision (20/30 or better). Then you will all see the real fireworks and regret not owning more of the rocket ship that is fueled and on the countdown to greatness. HOWEVER, I have been here for six long, long years, so I'm just sitting back and waiting.
Well, that's GREAT, CA, but......I'm still hoping that I will be sending you a couple of dozen oysters if MBMI is at $1 by 3/31/14. So little information and they promised there would be monthly updates. It IS concerning. Maybe they are like Obama. Makes promises and then says "Oopppsss!! Not quite as I said." ("If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period.:") All massive lies. Just hope that isn't the situation here. I mean, if they have news of delays, and why, investors should be told. jmho. We will now miss THREE shipment dates. hmmmmmm.
While looking for info to write both Steinbock and Yesheya, I noticed this little tidbit in their Aug. 8th announcement.
Mabwe Minerals Completes Strategic Alliances With Steinbock Minerals Ltd. and Yasheya Ltd.
Mabwe Minerals Inc. August 8, 2013 2:00 PM

Now, they may be brothers or cousins and it may mean nothing. On the other hand, it may mean something not so great for us shareholders. Anyway, I'm forging ahead with writing the two places. However, if they are in cahoots, I won't get any straight answers.
I'll check it out, since my ancestors are Norse, Scott and German. Thanks, Mags. Any thoughts on our sick child here? I was thinking we should write the various companies we are supposed to have contracts with and see if they have ever heard of us and does MBMI or RRHI have contracts with them. I'm sort of a Nervous Nelly after my Raptor experience.
Good thoughts, Anthony. Unfortunately, my wife and I are what you would call "elderly", in our middle 70's. She has severe food and other allergies that have to be strictly controlled or she has very serious health problems. For instance, she can't eat wheat, gluten, beef, soy, dairy, and etc. It makes it impossible for us to travel because you cannot control what you are being offered to eat. And, because she has a serious knee issue, she no longer drives, so I am her driver.
However, when MBMI makes us rich, I can buy a motor home and we can travel that way, if we wish. Actually, we're pretty happy with our salt waterfront home, very quiet life. I just split some bone dry cedar kindling and starter wood for out fireplace insert. Cedar smells so great. So, we don't have to travel except to maybe see things like the monuments in Utah, etc. At any rate, I sure hope I have to keep my promise to send you guys oysters if MBMI is above $1 per share on March 31.
The action of the stock makes no sense IF MBMI is sitting on 20k tons of stuff on the ground waiting to ship. The Oysters are getting further and further away, guys. I went back to all the announcements and found this in one of them:
Through the MabweMessage Newsletter, shareholders will be kept abreast of the ongoing developments at Dodge Mine as WGB Kinsey & Company continues to build long-term infrastructure and continues barite production. With assistance from strategic partners, Mabwe-Z has now established different grades of barite types to address the multiple market applications for barite ranging from API-grade barite to support the oil & gas drilling sector to bright white barite supporting the paint industry.
As part of the lot qualification process, Mabwe-Z will be sending bi-weekly lots of barite, sorted by grade type, to multiple test labs under the supervision of Steinbock Minerals, whose barite customer base has historically approved as third party, independent barite test facilities. The accumulation of multiple lots of test data will be used to set specification sheets for the different grades of barite. Once the specification sheets are completed during the 4th Qtr. 2013, lot qualification should commence shortly thereafter, as our strategic partners network with their barite customer base to set up initial shipments for final customer approval.
I tried to access the MabweMessage Newsletter No. 1 and could not. HAS there been another because I could not find it on the website. It doesn't seem to me we are being "kept abreast of the ongoing developments" very well, imho. We should be getting info on the results of the bi-weekly lots being sorted by grade type, to the "multiple test labs under the supervision of Steinbock Minerals."
I wonder how to reach someone at Steinbock to see if we can find out anything. What do you think, gentlemen investors of the board? Mags, how would we dig this out?
