What Denison would be valued at...anywhere from $1 billion to $2 billion is my guess and it's only a guess based on future worth not present worth.

This $450 million is not enough for an offer to buy out Denison, but perhaps it is for URZ. If they go for Denison, and this is pure speculation at this point, it might mean the combination of cash and stocks. Don't know and no one else knows either. Time will tell. Good luck.

to make this stock move appreciably. Patience should be rewarded. We need an announcement from Japan that they are starting up their nuclear facilities and that should provide a nice catalyst to the stock price...should. Good luck.

We'll need high volume and a higher uranium spot price or some news out of Japan or elsewhere, to move higher from here and maintain the momentum that we've seen over the last couple of weeks. It'll be interesting to see if the upward trend continues this week. Good luck.

this is going up and it seems to be gathering momentum as well. We'll see if the stock makes up all its losses from yesterday. Someone seems to think that this is a good buy and the volume is once again high. Comments?

paints a better and more positive picture on the future of uranium and feels that the tide is turning. We can see that with the more than average volumes on the uranium stocks of late. This could be the beginning of investors returning to this beaten down energy sector. We could see a nice boost in the price of dnn after it's significant drop on Friday. Good luck.

This is such a lottery ticket...

I agree with you totally. This could run to $10 also if the news is that good. It could go to zero as well as you said with any negative news...well not zero but easily $.10. It's a lottery ticket which could create tremendous wealth and it could also create just the opposite. Preserving wealth is not the function of this company. It's either going to make wealth or destroy it. It won't preserve it. We'll see where this is in 6 months.

I personally don't trust the management since their failure of their last drug a couple of years ago. The company knew the drug was going to fail and still pursued the trial knowing of the imminent failure. They were looking for a small part of the participants where the drug did have an effect and at the end, Adam F. called it right, failure. I hope this "turn around" story works out. I bought some shares yesterday and if it goes to zero I can afford to lose this amount and if only one of their drugs succeed, I'll be able to buy myself a new mercedes. Good luck to all. I hope this dream comes true. Expect tremendous volatility until the smoke settles and the stock price finds a strong support. It should be around this price and then with any good news or prospects of good news, the stock could move strongly upwards. Any negative news and more dilution without any positive news will lead to a massive sell off. Welcome to the world of biotech.

    1. Debt is around 500,000 million dollars which they say might be manageable.
    2. They might now have a chance that if the stock goes up bond holders will be able to convert warrants into shares and that's a positive.
    3. Tower must utilize the plants and get deals to maximize output.
    4. Things appear to be getting better for the company.

Maybe, just maybe this might be the beginning of something good...finally...but I've said this many times before.

  • From Globes...Israeli financial paper...not good news about the plants being under utilized....

Sources inform ''Globes'' that specialty foundry Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: TSEM; TASE: TSEM) will fire 40 of its 1,200 employees in Israel. Layoffs will be made in all departments.
Tower, led by CEO Russell Ellwanger, has R&D operations as well as manufacturing activity at its fabs in Migdal Ha'Emek: the old Fab 1, which is currently operating at 85% capacity; and Fab 2, built in the early 2000s, and which is operating at just 60% capacity. In view of the low activity, the company shuts the fabs down on every other Sunday.
Tower also has a fab in California, which it acquired through the acquisition of Jazz Semiconductor in 2008, and which is operating at high capacity; and a fab in Nishiwaki, Japan, which it acquired from Micron Technology Inc. (NYSE: MU), in 2011, and which is operating at 30% capacity.
"As part of the company policy and in accordance with its annual operation plan, we regularly implement efficiency and improvements which align company activities and resources to the required performance and changing market," said Tower. "These actions include (a) adjusting the organizational structure; (b) an annual process of personnel ranking and replacing the lower performance; and (c) executing worldwide synergies across the entire organization. This year’s operating plan is targeted to enable GAAP net profit."
