Market is wide open for TDM1 in gastric, Not sure what percentage is Her+ but there's not much competition. Looks like AMGN is cutting costs due to pressure from shareholders. Hard to believe the BOD and execs of a large co doing fairly well for the shareholders like AMGN feels pressure while poor performing and small IMGN's execs have no pressure, act like private company owners, ignore shareholders take actions in their personal interest...What's wrong with this picture??? I had a dream last night the a certain well-known exec wanted to be the CEO for IMGN. Wishful dreaming I guess.
if insiders are selling stock in the $20's, what makes you think the stock is worth $80+ any time soon. Maybe some day, but it will take at least 2-3 years IMO to confirm efficacy in other indications, etc. There's been no indication that management is interested in being acquired, but if someone offers $40-50 before approval, that would de-risk the stock and give management a very nice retirement and BB's a nice exit.
I don't expect a deal, but one never knows. The execs at Trius went on Mad Money and said they were not looking for a deal and a few months later, they agreed to be taken over.
something is up and it's not the stock price, at least in relation to the market, sector and SGEN. Hard to say what's going on. I did try to stir up some BD activity by contacting a few senior level BD pros that work for the most likely buyers. Next year, if there's no progress and it's business as usual, I will be contacting the large shareholders to vote out the do-nothing directors. Shareholders deserve better leadership.
not sure, shorts are often hard to crack and we have a little time before product sales will prove that colo is a big winner. Expect some volatility along the way, but it could be a great LT winner or an acquired co in about 18-24 months after sales take off.
Not today please, I sold a few $30's a few weeks ago. Thought they were dead, should be OK. EXAS is also flying, Happy Birthday to me.
very funny! I don't own, or follow these companies. I know about ACAD, ARNA, IMGN, EXAS and some others. Thanks again for the ACAD lead, it's been my best stock for the past 1-2 years so far. Took a little off the table, but still holding 80% for now. Maybe I am being greedy, but they say let the profits run.
Since many patients lost 5% in the placebo group, why not compare NASH related numbers between the 5% Belviq responders and the 5% placebo responders. Pretty good eh. Blind squirrel found a nut.
rat smoking is causing a big problem in the sewers and subways, I can't see, it must be that 2nd hand rat smoke!
On a serious note, I hope they can do something to improve the smoking cessation efficacy numbers. Relative to placebo #'s looked good, relative to approved products, not as good/just OK. Do you think FDA will approve at 20% with low side effects? Did they measure reduction/change in # of cigs smoked?
On the Nash issue, to verify if the improvement was due to weight reduction, or specific to Bel, can't they compare to patients who lost weight in the placebo group???
shine this up and send it to the BOD members. I told people JL was not CEO material years ago based on his terrible communication skills on the calls. A CEO needs to be able to communicate and think on his feet. JL has no investment savvy and his poor communications and financial illiteracy are a detriment to creating shareholder value. BOD members are likely his friends and have a nice deal and don't want change in their great personal deal-pay for nothing, free money...You/we may need to threaten their safety with personal legal action, breach of fiduciary responsibility, etc. to force change. We really need an activist to get JL out.
yes, then the tooth fairy will come and leave $100K under your pillow for being a good boy. What a dreamer. The filing is expected, it's not a big event. I am hoping for $30+ after approval, maybe a new high. Then the company will need to sell product to go higher, or advance in other indications, or sell the company. The current valuation is already $2.5+ BB and they don't even have a filing complete. We are luck to have the stock at this price now IMO. It really concerns me that people have no clue about the risk of biotech stocks.
I read the transcript on SA. Craig presents a nice overview of Bel related opportunities, costs, and the pipeline. Apparently the market was not buying anything he was selling. If these dopes would just buy some stock, people might believe ARNA management had confidence in the company and the pipeline. It almost appears that the shorts have something on management that prevents them from taking any positive action to improve investor confidence. The only other alternative is they don't know what to do, or don't care...
Looks like someone wants to kill the $4's on Friday to me. Friday might provide a good entry/adding opportunity. Any tax selling should be almost finished. Back to work, I spend way too much time on this POS.
agree, if they were so confident in Bel, Bel-Phen, Bel-smokeless, Bel Nash or any of the pipeline products, they would not be selling, they would be BUYING! They all make a very livable wage and don't need to sell stock to pay their bills. It's becoming a trading sardine. Maybe one day...until then trade some and hold some IMO.
sure they will, th#$%$t's why the stock is rising so f#$%$st. Another f#$%$lse hope, this stock is re#$%$lly #$%$ LOSER. Time is running out on them, they c#$%$n't continue to spend $20MM+/qu#$%$rter with 3MM in revs.
This poor stock perform#$%$nce is re#$%$lly getting OLD. Losing p#$%$tience! Gl#$%$d I did not buy b#$%$ck m#$%$ny covered c#$%$lls, wh#$%$t #$%$ w#$%$ste th#$%$t would h#$%$ve been. If this pig does not fly in e#$%$rly 2015, I #$%$m done with it.
