n16m15 would disagree with you. (Just being funny). I am guessing $80 in two years. Deutsche Bank has a $45 price target, and that's a one year target. A double from there a year later would be stupendous. That brings us to $85. At that point, or long before that point, Arrowhead gets acquired by someone much bigger.
I bought more. I sold off a portion of one of the REITs I own, and bought another 2500 shares today. I own more ARWR now than I ever thought I would. I am very confident in the science now that I understand it. Barring being acquired by a bigger company, I cannot envision a scenario where ARWR isn't at least $80 in two years. It isn't just ARC520, their current flagship drug. It is the delivery system too, like you say. There is more in Arrowhead's pipeline that they're not disclosing. RNAi therapy can be unleashed against ebola, all strains of herpes, malaria, even dangerous strains of flu. Even though malaria isn't caused by a virus, it has a genetic lock that RNAi can hack. $80 in two years might even be conservative.

Very good deductive reasoning Mr. vvvvvrebel. You hit it. They will announce stupendously positive results. No way they would do anything less in the presence of their peers. You're right. Thank you for that.
You're darn right its going to be fun! I don't know about you, but I have spent many hours studying how the RNAi therapy works. It is a huge breakthrough in our understanding of what makes a virus "tick". Arrowhead Research can turn off the gene within the virus that codes for reproduction, and it turns off the gene that codes for the production of those nasty peripheral proteins. It is amazing. It is biochemical sorcery.
RNAi could theoretically "turn off" the reproduction genes in ebola too.
Just 4 centuries ago, plagues were thought to be brought on by angry Gods. Now we know better. Science will shine the light of discovery and truth into all dark corners of all of man's superstitions eventually.
I think his handlers achieved their goal in the mid $14s. They closed their short position at a huge profit. N16's mission is accomplished. Good for him. good for me.
OK. I doomed myself. I am up $1,900.00 on that trade alone in the last 2 hours. Who's da man?
How do you like my bold decision n16m15? Did I do the right thing?
Filled at $14.58 limit. Doesn't that just frustrate you? I took money out
of your pocket. How does it feel?
I would love to see an ISIS video of you being beheaded.
" Hated American message board troll beheaded by Islamic extremists".
What a headline that would make!
It seems that DSKY is falling too. VIPS is stuck in the 195-205 consolidation area. The more time it spends consolidating the higher it will climb in Q4 and Q1 2015.
At first it would be affected negatively. Afterwards, as folks are forced to borrow at higher rates, the banks make more money. REITs start to adapt to the new rates. REITs go right back up. If ORC's PPS goes down, the dividend percentage goes up, and you use the dividend proceeds to buy more ORC shares at a lower price.
By reinvesting the dividends, even if the PPS goes down, your dollar cost average goes down and you enjoy a higher percentage yield on the dividend.
It all comes out in the wash, so to speak. Built for long-term investing, not trading. Stay in for a few years and you'll make more money than you would in a S&P500 index or a variable annuity.
Look at their 1 year chart. Yahoo finance has the ability for you to do a chart comparison. Compare TWO, DX, RSO to ORC. ORC describes a 45-degree upward climb. The others don't.
Why are you posting this on a powerless message board? Write this to the company!!! Write this letter to the investor relations dept.
There is no way to know exactly WHEN. We don't have inside information. I can tell you though, I have become addicted to the market. Weekends are boring. I want to see that ticker move! ARWR will be another GILD in a matter of two years or less.
Hi hparch. I spent an hour Sunday trying to understand how the peptide conjugate delivery system works, but I understand vey little. It is so complex, its mind boggling. All I understand is that it involves opposite charges attracting the delivery "bubble", or vehicle, to the target cell, and then something like an anionic surfactant (like a soap bubble) penetrates the cell membrane and releases the "switch" inside the target cell that turns off target genes in the virus.
How these scientists come up with this stuff is beyond me. It is fascinating.
Just before the Q2 report came out VIPS ran to $229. At that price, VIPS really ran ahead of itself and was seriously overbought. VIPS needs to consolidate in the low $200s for about one more month. Q4 will see the entire market at new dizzy highs, with VIPS hitting a blowoff top around Xmas.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
