Last time they shot their wad to the upside it was nothing but down hill from their. Most likely the same case here now. Economy could be in serious shape right now and my bet is a huge disappointment. Don't forget they like to get bonuses and raises for great 4 th quarters. Let's see. Not enough PRS these days to make a difference. They need 3 huge design wins per q to move the needle
Just read a couple of articles regarding this and it appears that the people of Toronto are acting as if it is already legal where shops are opening (~40 ) with no license... also, 30K people in Canada are now enrolled in the Med MJ with 500K over the next decade that would signal explosive growth.... In order to truly "harvest" these patients they will have to close down the shops with no license...
Also, a great read and validation of Med MJ is search Jim McMahon, the Bears QB, who was able to ween himself off of narcotic painkillers and is living a much improved existence in the Med MJ program... Truly a strong case for Med mj..
I have no doubt this stock will see a huge run over the next few years, just have to get the ground rules finished...
JB, I totally agree... SILC could have reported #$30M with the same result... It really appears like a "MAJOR" leg down is brewing and it is better right now to watch for now.... see you again Q4 16
Listening to the CC I got that margins were squeezed a bit and R&D was up. Revs higher but at a cost. Lame guidance q1 nothing to write home about. Out for now
Looking at the analyst estimates even the analyst didn't bother to update his numbers. Clearly anything estimated would clearly be a guess. Even the analyst are tired of the games.
They should focus on what they do best and earn money hand over fist. If they can't put shareholder value a priority I don't think I would put their pay raises or bonuses a priority.
It has only taken 3 years of drama to get to this point at $30???? Give me a break we should be $90+ now if it weren't for death by 100 paper cuts. If you are thrilled at $30 I'm baffled.
Next thing you know they will be wanting big bonuses and pay raises while investors took it in the shorts.
Sorry about being pessimism and I hope so.... Just wonder what the next drama buzz kill will be. Seems to always be something up their sleeve. This stock should be much higher right now except they have tired everyone out.
Clearly a large deal going through at $28. I can hardly wait for normalcy with this company. With all the cash they make they can't seem to pull it together without some conflict. It's like a marriage with constant drama and it gets old.
With or without legalization CGC is set for explosive growth over the next 4 years. If legalized happens to come along then great.
sorry just noticed my words got changed by the phone..... the point being is that the acquisition of ADI was completed 1 day after last q's numbers were let out and they refused to give guidance on the acquisition.... now nobody knows (in theory) what the impact of the acquisition had on the company...
eyes are failing me ha! I will proof better next time
No guidance given, close the day after last q numbers. Everyone fearful of the net result. Everything will be fine in its time. I can't imagine this stock being valued this low but I've seen weirder things. I like the stock price here.
Massive student debt, property taxes coming apart and guns trying to be confiscated.... At the end of the day, the system has b@st@rdized itself and we need to pay the piper..maybe it will take 10 years but it is coming.....Debt is eating everyone up to the point where they could care less if they pay it back...I think it is close to the time to be stepping back in the gold pool, 1 foot at a time though
Yes, you knew somebody knew something and was trying not to be suspicious while accumulating....this always happens... Im happy about the guidance but still not happy about how this traded ahead of the news... Almost as if management was forced into making the announcement... I think management needs to start plugging some leaks... I'm glad I have some money back in my pocket that is for sure!
