Can you link to any information regarding the gel? I'm not finding anything on their website or a standard google search.
Trading/investing since 1995 here. Certainly there is a level of corruption in the market machinations. Certainly a reasonable strategy to act on that premise and profit from the knowledge.
For me, it's enough to know it exists.
The willingness of Hercules to accept a convertible promissory note and thereby reducing Amerdica debt can be read as a signal that Hercules is optimistic regarding Amedica's prospects.
Yahoo stats have a 791,000 short position from 7.80million share float. If the short position is greater than that we could see some fireworks.
That reads like an introduction to a fun and plausible conspiracy theory. I try to remain on the skeptical side of cynicism but do wander over.
Thanks for the response. I have read the Amedica web site which includes much of that information. With respect to building a position the likely most important detail is the progress on China approval. That press release included numbers to be shipped and that included minimum yearly shipments. Ballpark sales figures could be worked from those numbers.
How is it you come to that conclusion?
IR is so far not reachable. I'd be interested in others research.
1) Are the devices sold Class I, II, or III?
2) Is the China deal being processed through the CFDA by in-house or hired out?
3) Emergo(google it) has an 11 step approval process for China. What step are we on?
4) What is the cost comparison of Silicone Nitride vs Titanium and/or Peek?
5) Any competitors with silicone nitride and/or 3d printed devices?
I called the company and asked for IR and was transferred to a phone message for someone named Huey. Where can I find the IR phone #? Mike?
I tried unsuccessfully to contact the company to find out a cost per unit. So far everything looks legit and on the upswing.
Thanks for the replies. I have been following wstl from a distance for some time and have not done deeper research other than the yahoo stats.
The yahoo statistics show west ell with $37.93 million in cash(no debt) and 46.89million shares outstanding. That works out to $.80 cents per share and not the $.63 per share shown in yahoo stats.
If the market tanks due to some combination of China, Greece and any other factor, Westell could be selling for less than cash.
Are yahoo's numbers correct? my numbers?
