I think its Musk you should be worried about. He is the one that said it.
Intelligent robots and computers intent on destroying mankind may sound like science fiction to most of us.
But to Elon Musk it's a real threat. That's why he's donating millions to ensure that Artificial Intelligence technology remains safe for humanity.
Musk, the founder of both Tesla Motors (TSLA) and SpaceX, has long expressed concern about the threat he fears smart machines and computers could pose to human civilization. In remarks at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology last fall he called AI "our biggest existential threat," and said that with advances humans are "summoning the demon".
Yes, I dont think that has sunk in to investors. Panasonic continues to make batteries. Tesla continues to purchase batteries from Panasonic and wire them into modules. 1/2 the factory is Panasonic making the cells, 1/2 is Tesla wiring up the modules. Nothing has basically changed.
I think its unlikely. I think its especially unlikely to be a good enough report that it would trigger a real squeeze. Trend is against that.
There is a reason the dividend has shrunk with profitability.

I think $200 is high with the competition making announcements every week now.
I think I could live with the I8, or a Mercedes or Porsche EV.
Ignore the competition at your peril.
