Does it? Does it really? Seems like it's only wasting your time, since you feel the need to post something that provides no value. Again, why can't people just ignore it, if you can't provide constructive feedback?
I almost hate to ask, because I always get answers like, "You don't know this stuff. You should know stuff." That's why I'm asking. Is SDLP a K1 company? and what is the relationship to SDRL? Is that just a pass-thru company, without the K1? I'm thinking it's like the relationship between LINE & LNCO. Thanks for your patient answers. If you have to be a jerk, please ignore.
I didn't know the answer to my question. I knew the relationship you said I didn't know, and you uncorrectly characterized. Why can't people just answer the question, or just ignore it? Why do you have to try to prove you know so much, when it clearly justs wastes everyone's time?
LinnCo owns Linn like I do. As a shareholder. But within your stupid answer was an answer to my question, even if I had to sift thru #$%$ to get it. LinnCo won't re-establish until Linn does. Why didn't you say so in the first place? People who try to come off smart usually come off looking dumb.
Oh, road toad. That guy is obviously a kook, or he is posting for effect. His post didn't make grammatical sense, let alone ideological sense.
Let's take a hypothetical (I'm doing this for research sake) - Let's say oil edges back up, and stabilizes. For arguements sake, let's say around $50 (when will this happen, no one knows). IF this were to happen, and IF LNCO & LINE were to get healthy again, WHICH ONE would re-establish their div first? LNCO (which owns LINE) or LINE (which does the work)?
I didn't ask if the distribution was coming soon, I asked which would establish it first. Geez, can no one here answer a direct question?
Why not SDLP, with a 75% div? You can't just throw out a company name. It may work for your portfolio, but I'm not just going to add names to mine based on Div alone.
Are you intentionally being obtuse? Fascism may be efficient government, but I don't say that's what I'm talking about. When I say 'less government', I mean 'less government involvement in our daily lives', not 'efficient government', or 'less heads in government' (although less heads should be a result). Fascism is actually 'more government in our daily lives', as is National Socialism, Socialism, and the other one, that really has no difference from Socialism. BTW - what exactly is a fair share? Always more, I suspect. What if we could get top earners to pay for half of all government. Would that be fair? Wait, we already have that...
I understand the relationship perfectly LMC yo is the majority shareholder. I get it. What I'm asking is does LNCO have to be healthy you have to pay distributions before LINE? Or does LINE have the ability to establish first then become healthy enough for LNCO? I know these well, I've been in and out of them for years. Always made a profit. However, I don't think this has any precedents.
But I have the same conundrum: I'm an income investor, and both LNCO & LINE no longer have a distribution. Which do you believe will be the first to re-establish one, and what would be the conditions?
You miss the point of being a conservative. We want less government intrusion into our personal lives. This means that taxes & tariffs are low on their agenda. They get little done because they don't think they should be directing peoples lives. They focus on repealing OC because it is an intrusion. I love that they don't force stuff down our throats, like the dems. The most productive congress is one that produces nothing, and clears away the barriers to our success.
