100%? 100% of what... analysts? financial reporters? Surely not 100% of investors. Everyone does not agree that railroad mergers are stupid, but not everyone agrees CP-NSC is the best RR merger out there.
Huh? If they announced a big order there would not be any need for a R/S. At a minimum, if there are no orders forthcoming, BBD should not announce one until delisting is imminent. Doing one before either of these situations apply will be perceived as a sign of desperation. Very poor decision-making if it's true.
What is your problem? If I was your mother (and how I feel sorry she had to deliver you into this world and raise you), I would shove two bars of soap in your filthy mouth and tape it shut for an hour.
I'm a long, and I could care less about this 'action'. I will be impressed if and when the price breaks out to new highs.Until then, it's all just speculative noise.
Try to avoid posting cryptic messages. You compose in plain english, but many of your responses tend to wander off-topic. I'm guessing that turns many people off.
Why? Because Trump is apparently anti-war? I am not a big fan of the guy, but what he says in this report shows a breadth of knowledge and understanding I did not expect of him. Of course, it surely must make mainstream GOP members shudder... good.
STB punched Harrison in the face. He has a bloody nose.
@Norfolk Southern Corp. is gaining political and customer support for rejecting Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.’s takeover bid, which could make it harder for the Canadian company and investor Bill Ackman to wage a proxy fight. The U.S. Surface Transportation Board on Friday posted on its website 17 letters from shippers and lawmakers expressing concern or opposition to the combination.
Streetfight - Round 2
WV Senator releases a flurry of sharp jabs to the ribs of Hunter ''HardHead' Harrison. HH gasps for air.
@ I'm calling for a Commerce Committee investigation into this merger because I want to ask (Canadian Pacific Executive Officer) Hunter Harrison what they are going to invest in, what they are going to build, and how they are going to help the people and the communities of our state," said Manchin.
I expect management to be working hard every single day to maximize success of the company, but I don;t expect them to waste that valuable time to defend against some two-bit outfit spitting out weak short thesis blogs. Grow up.
Beachsidefreddy is nowhere in sight. Pumping the DWCH beachball furiously did not help (unless he was short all along). The ball has deflated and the party is over.
They should change the name from "Black" Friday to "Stupid People Who Waste Hours of Their Lives Standing in Checkout Lines To Accumulate Discounted Material Goods that Will Not Improve Their Happiness and Joy Even One Iota" Friday.
Seriously? Did you not read zikzak's post? This patent is irrelevant to LG;s woled implementation ie. nothing here for shorts to hang their hat on. Daytrade it if you want, but don't count on this specific patent rejection as 'bad' news.
Put your hands up slowly and back away from the keyboard. You are under arrest for posting while under the influence... of what exactly I can't say, but whatever drug it is, it's dangerous.
Sounds like you, as a DOW shareholder, should be worried then. Oh wait, surely the new and improved DOWDD will figure out a way to divest all the toxic liabilities, putting them in the hands of new naive shareholders via a splurge of spinoffs. After all, isn't that "The American Way"?
Exactly. Why do a R/S and attract more short trades? Even with the stock at the current level, BBD's average stock price over the last three months is above the minimum $1 that would trigger a de-listing. It's hard to understand why they would announce this now, unless they don't expect to obtain any large CS orders in the coming months. In that case, this show is coming to an end anyway.
