Quitting smoking, drugs, and alcohol are lifelong struggles for many. But it is well worth the effort too, and it does get easier to do each time you go through it.

    Samsung resume Oled TV production

Huh? The report refers to Samsung starting WOLED TV production. My understanding is that Kateeva tools would enable direct inkjet printing or RGB pixels, so if this is the technology they are resuming production on, then there would not be any need for WOLED+color filters ala LG.

@@@@The face-to-face meetings will give the FTC’s five commissioners a chance to ask questions and hear directly from company representatives before making a final decision on whether to grant the tobacco deal antitrust clearance. When Reynolds and Lorillard announced their deal last summer, they sought to address potential government concerns about competition by selling $7.1 billion in cigarette brands and other assets to Imperial Tobacco Group PLC, a U.K.-based global tobacco company.

@@@@@Reynolds American Inc. and Lorillard Inc. are expected to meet this week with members of Federal Trade Commission ahead of a final decision by the agency on whether to allow the companies to merge, according to people familiar with the matter. A final vote by the commission could come as soon as this week, people familiar with the review said. The FTC is made up of three Democrats and two Republicans. A majority has to agree on a course of action.

What part of your life, spent on what pursuits, do you think was the most satisfying and that you should have spent more time doing? Personally, I find doing menial chores like cooking or washing the car a royal waste of time.

  • Wants to run for president. Good luck with that USA.

@@@@(Reuters) - Former Hewlett-Packard Co Chief Executive Carly Fiorina on Sunday said the chances of her running for U.S. presidency were "very high" and she would announce her plans in late April-early May. Fiorina, speaking on Fox News Sunday, put the chances of her running for president in 2016 at 'higher than 90 percent' but said she could not yet announce the bid as she was working to establish her team, get "the right support" and financial resources.

That file contains the detailed numbers and y-o-y comparisons by each carload type

Iraqi Shia militias, which have borne the brunt of the fighting on the ground against the Sunni jihadists of ISIS in central and western Iraq, say they don't want the coalition’s assistance. Some groups are refusing to continue fighting and one has even threatened to shoot down coalition aircraft.

Well it's unfortunate bad you feel that way. I post many of my trades but don;t bother responding to jerks.... that's what ignore is for. Anyway, I went into BTU probably 2 years ago now using leaps calls that I rolled down and out a couple of times (yeah that's how I feel about it too). With a strike at 13 they're worthless now but I viewed coal as a high risk play so kept the total invested amount to a only a few % of my portfolio. I continue to follow BTU and other coal stocks but stopped throwing money at it last fall when it hit 10. Until coal prices see a sustained turn back up I see no reason to buy any shares or options, so am a bit surprised when I see a long-term player like you guys still putting money into this. Anyway, I hope it works out for you, and that you have other successful holdings that have made up for this slow-moving disaster.

Unexpected given the good FTV progress and no new technical issues reported

@@@@@Bombardier CSeries delivery pushed to 2016 - report 15 minutes ago by Thomson Reuters TORONTO, March 27 (Reuters) - Bombardier Inc will not deliver its first CSeries jet until 2016, missing a longstanding target, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing the company's new chief executive. Chief Executive Alain Bellemare said last month that while Bombardier was committed to having the plane certified by the end of 2015, its entry into service could be in 2016 depending on decisions made by customers. Bombardier had long said it was targeting entry into service in the second half of 2015. But in a February filing it shifted its language slightly, saying it expected certification in the second half of 2015, and entry into service "shortly thereafter." Core Invisalign IP Expires 2017

    by casinv0906 Mar 26, 2015 4:18 PM
blackoutbuzz blackoutbuzz Mar 27, 2015 11:12 AM Flag

Well, I'm not a dental surgeon, but I see a few reasons why they might stick with Invisalign even if lower cost alternatives appear.

First there is branding. If customers perceive Invisalign as a superior solution and their insurance plan coverage is decent, they may feel more comfortable to go with the leader and insist on that. I always do research online and ask questions when I go to the dentist's office, and the dentist does not force me into options I don't personally like or approve of.

Second, orthodontists who run a lot of cases where ALGN, due to their advanced IP portfolio, offers the only available solution to some more complex cases, may decide it is simpler to work with one provider rather than splitting up the business across ALGN for the complex cases and a competitor for more basic cases. ALGN could also offer reduced prices on simpler cases to retain the surgeon as a customer for the more complex (and presumably higher margin) cases.

Finally, never underestimate the value of a strong vendor-client relationship. If a surgeon has dealt with ALGN for many years and is satisfied with the sales rep's efforts and the product performance, it may not be so easy for a competitor to displace ALGN through reduced prices alone.

NVO was rangebound (at least on the US exchange anyway) for a year and when it finally breaks out on excellent news you suggest to sell it? I suggest you go do some due diligence about this company first before you blabber such nonsense.
