It could drop below $20. If it does I'll add again. It should be good for $25 down the road. Who knows, maybe we will be bought out at $30 some day.
I don't think Apple is a customer. I can't think of anything II-VI makes that would be needed by Apple.
Imagine that. I bought a thousand at $20.80 and it seems I over paid.
I don't know what to suggest about increasing activity on a message board. I don't think there is enough movement in the stock to generate too much excitement. I remember trading IIVI when it would move three bucks in 30 minutes plunge back and then rise that much again all in an afternoon. I have no complaints here. I made a lot of money in this stock and it saved me during the collapse in 2008. I still have shares and about a thousand left in RSTI. I would have sold the RSTI, but I don't see anything I like right now so I'm wait for the $32.50. I think eventually someone will buy IIVI too.
I definitely don't get it. It fell to less than 20 and snapped back to over 32 in less than an hour.
I did, more or less, the same thing. All I did was get out even with RSTI. I still have about 6000 IIVI and hope for a better profit if they get taken over at some point.
I sold some at $32.14. I don't see any upside past the $32.50. The whole thing has been a bid disappointment over the years. I'm glad it it coming to an end.
