Congrats to you all. I'm in ARWR. ARWR is next to enjoy a day in the sun. Arrowhead Research is going to be a MAJOR biotech blue chip stock. ARWR has the most powerful and revolutionary Hepatitis-B drug the world has ever seen. It blows Interferon and Entecavir away.
The flagship drug, ARC520 is a RNA interference drug that has found Hepatitis-B's off switch. That's right. It can just shut down the virus. One dose. No toxicity. 95% viral knockdown. BOOM. No kidding.

How can the short sellers know MORE? I am so scared. I don't know what to do. Why so many short positions? What do they know??? It bothers me. Help.

Riots are escalating! China will roll in the military! The police have LOST CONTROL of the situation! Watch now! All eyes on China! ISIS is a CIA created fraud. What's happening in HongKong is as real as it gets. Chinese are blood mad from decades of communist repression. They will not stand down. They will send in heavy artillery now. Tanks. Heavily armed troops. China has a civil war on its hands.
Not good for BABA, VIPS, BIDU,Tencent Holdings, all Chinese ADRs.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • We have clowns like stockspy. Mr. Garcon is good, and a few others. That's it. Input is sporadic. StockSpy is a silly little Chinese man in pajamas who rides his bicycle to work. In a rice field. Useless input from him, even though he LIVES in China and SHOULD be able to provide valuable insights. VIPS has broken below its long-term trend line. The riots in Hong Kong don't help either. VIPS needs to recover $205 fast. If not, it may cut into the $180s, and that isn't good at all. AmericanBulls has had a short signal on VIPS for 2 weeks.
The riots are escalating. The Chinese have a centuries long tradition of warfare. They have developed whole art disciplines based on war. 2000 years ago the Chinese had gunpowder, advanced weapons and tactics, they have raised hand to hand combat to a high art. China is to be feared. They are going to roll in the military next. Watch and see.....

    Sentiment: Hold

There are many people who don't know acronyms. For them NAV means Net Asset Value. They are too afraid to ask. What NAV would be today if... what? What is the "if" in your question? What loss of 5-6 cents? In the stock price? Explain yourself.

Institutional holders are smart too. I think its just a good bet that the results of the blind portion of the study is historically iffy for all biotechs. I don't know. I own 6500 shares and you have me biting the insides of my cheeks so hard I have a bloody mouth. I don't know who to believe, what to think, and I'm scared now.

What do the short sellers know? What information do they have access to that we don't? Maybe the trials didn't do as well as we hoped? Has inside information leaked and its bad? Jetcloud said that short sellers are very educated. Where are they getting the education from?

Jetcloud is right. We should be seeing more price acceleration! I am worried now. If we do have a hep-b cure, it should be going up like crazy.

  • blueboy0911 blueboy0911 Sep 25, 2014 8:01 PM Flag

Where? How do you find it? Jetcloud said also that if there is 80% ownership, whats left to drive the stock? Well? I can't answer him! Maybe I should just sell.

Right here on Yahoo Finance, it says there is 2% institutional ownership:
    Major Holders
% of Shares Held by All Insider and 5% Owners: 37%
% of Shares Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 2%
% of Float Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 3%
Number of Institutions Holding Shares: 11

  • Somebody find proof that there is 80% institutional ownership. I can't. Indeed, how do we really know anything?

    Yes you raise some concerns.
    From Yahoo Finance
% of Shares Held by All Insider and 5% Owners: 37%
% of Shares Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 2%
% of Float Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 3%
Number of Institutions Holding Shares: 11

According to this, there is only 2% institutional ownership. I tried to prove that there is 80% inst. ownership and instead I found out that there is only 3%! Where does the 80% figure come from? The message board. I cannot disprove what you say. MAYBE I SHOULD LISTEN TO YOU.

Hi jet cloud. I hope you're a normal contrail and not a chemtrail. I understand ARWR is ALREADY at 80% institutional ownership. That's why it went up from $1 to $15. The "tripping over themselves" phase is done. That leaves 20% to retail investors like us. Of that 20%, a thirty percent fraction is being shorted? Is that bad? That means 70% of the retail investors are long.
I think the same folks that rolled out n16m15 have rolled out the big guns (you) to write far more sophisticated basher posts.

Well, he has a point. Still, he does not understand how close we are to ARC520 being released to the world. A mighty sword to smite to death once and for all the horrible plague that is Hepatitis-B. Insidious and evil, Hepatitis-B can infect asymptotically so the victim unwittingly spreads the virus. Like an advance espionage team sent in advance of an invading army, Hep-B manufactures ingredients to disable the host's immune system. Once compromised the immune system cannot fight, and the virus infiltrates every liver cell it can. Jaundice, dysfunction, general malaise and liver cancer conspire to kill the host.

Yes. Those who are well versed with scientific principles know that the official media story IS the conspiracy. 9/11 was a false flag operation orchestrated by the highest levels of our government and that of Israel. First of all, ignited jet fuel burns away rapidly, leaving normal combustibles such as paper and wood to burn on their own. Hardly enough heat energy to bring 10-ton beams of homogenized steel to thermal failure in 45 minutes. Clearly, this was done with high energy incendiaries and focused explosive charges.
How did steel beams fail that were BELOW the impact zone? Not even on fire, the steel beams from the 70th floor down were COLD, and at full structural strength. Heat RISES. This is the first violation of thermodynamics.
Heat energy propagating across a medium like steel incurs attenuation. Steel far away from the fire is at a lower temperature, not hotter. A second violation of thermodynamics.

  • We are not over the cluster. The cluster has grown now and its gravity has increased, drawing the stock price into its gravity well. Just like a galactic cluster gathering more drifting galaxies, its mass increases. It will now be very difficult uncluster the stock price and get it moving north. We need a cluster bomb.

  • Just when I decided to buy it a week ago.
