    Stop Blaming Shorts

Every investor is upset for sure me included over this drudging and by the way I find unwarranted to this extent. When it was doing some rebounding in the 4s the shorts put the brakes on and took out all stop losses and then did some covering today. They made a kiliing on the down and will make a killing on the up. So it goes. Slow sales doesn't call for a 60% haircut either. The co has already mentioned about dealing with the shorts in some fashion which they could no eloborate on and then they went to another exchange to enhance the value. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so. They are not going to get any relief on the US exchange being so controled by the shorts. That is a very real fact. So did the management step up.I think so even if some may disagree.

Some traders taking profits and most accumalating for the long haul. Partnership will work out big IMO. If everyone keeps away from stops and put hgh gtc on it may change.

That is exactly right. Many are spinning this as mnkd issues and that is not so. MNKD has given all the control of getting this to mkt and dealing with any issues in doing so that includes all hurdels. We can do the maybe and if game all we want to but the fact remains it is sny who droped the ball here. It is my personal feeling that this may have been done on purpose by sny as not to meet any further milestone payments. It has already been said that sny is rethinking and realining the that mkt. There is always more to things that is visiable. As my beliefe is that - don't believe anything you hear and only believe half of what you see.

The management is not the blame even though many want to put the blame on them. That is not true. Its is SNY responsibility to have put out the reps and the adds not mnkd. That is why they gave so much to SNY. If you have to blame someone for the low sales put the blame where it belongs.

Shorts win another 20 million dollars today. Every man Jack who was involved today should be investigated for sure. That goes for the house shorts as well. I am "positive" this calculated move was for some to cover their short out. They did a good job on investors and no doubt scared out a few and also no doubt took out many stop losses as well. This was a set up from the begining of the day

If one actually believes that the shorts have nothing to do with this then that is their belief although I very much disagree. It is very, very apparant what has transpired over the past six months. The continued shorting from the highs of the approval day when the shorts actually truelly believed that the co would not get fda approval and had bet the farm against the co. Rather than chase and be forced to cover the reaction of the shorts was to short even bigger not to get those margin calls and to send out the dogs, which they did very successfully. Hit bloggers by the dozens and massive beahsers in the field. There is no secret about this. You don't slam down a co for a few small mis-steps 80%. That is BS and we all know that. So believe what you will but the evidence says the shorts are very much in control and have been for years.

This orchastrated move by the co is not working out to well right now for the investors. There is something going on we are unaware of. Either the shorts are attacking and taking out all stop losses to be able to cover at the all time low or there is more to it as we suspect. Right now we are down so much it really doesn't matter at this point. If you wern't long you are now. I am down BIG TIME and holding a lot of shares. The only way I lose is when I sell and that isn't going to happen any time soon I guarantee you that much

This all is sooo very f--ked up for real. I have never ever seen anything quite like this in many, many years with an approved fda drug co in my entire life. A co worth 1 billion. This BS is the biggest sence of the words.

Not only that I would also like to see a full disclosure on the short hit bloggers.Who they work for, how they are paid or compensated, who are they affilated with, who are they in bed with, full disclosure of finances here and abroad. What sums of monies have been added to their bank accounts and so on. Yeah I know, nice try. The gov can't even get out of its own way. Perhaps if we can get the gov cut in half we could focus on real agencies doing a real job instead of all these AH walking around and bumping into each and getting paid 5 figures for doing nothing - who's on first. AH in space. The greatest place to live on earth with the dumbest people in charge. Go figure.

The amswer is with out question yes they are. More of the same today, what else is new. Stupid is what stupid does. What ever the reason and whom ever it is did not play this the correct way as many of us see it how it should have played out. It is like it is more vendictive than anything else. Bad mary Jane stocks have done better by far than this has and this is a real co with a real plant and has real co-operation with the Army and universities. As known. There is NO common sence to this what so ever for real. It's like a hate crime.

I agree. If you go back to the day the fda approved mnkd and the pps went to 12.50 there was as always expected to see some trading and profit taking. But that was not the case here as would be considered as usual. The pps went straight down and was under very heavy shorting and attacked big time by every source out there and every blogger under the shorts thumb. They sent out the troups in force. This has been a consistant them for the past 7 months with no let up. If you take into consideration the amount of the short 100 mil+ and factor in the dollar amount You will see that the shorts made hundreds of millions shorting this. Why these attacks, pretty simple to see. There has been tons of garbage blogged out. Now we have bloggers putting out more and more of "their opinions" that relate to bk and survival with sny when they have NO proof of either - just thier opinions. Really unbelieveable what has been going on for months and months on end.

The shorts are crushing the mkt worse than the financial crisis big time. They are making trillions each week at the expense of the investors whom they don't give a ---- about or anyones 401 which is making a lot of funds anxious. They are being bombarded by calls from investors as investors open up there monthly statements. Going after a co as all in to crush it for not the reasons that would be known to dip a stock but to destroy it and make mountains of cash in the process while putting out hit bloggers and hit squads constantly appears to be somewhat worriesome as to the legit side of it. This is mind boggeling for sure. A co that has an approved fda drug and only one of its kind on the mkt and other drugs in a pipeline as well can loss 70% of cap because of weak sales. Unbelieveable what is going on here.

Yes many, many issues for sure. To me one the biggest issues is the China debt. We owe them way too much and they control our imports and exports to a point everythign comes from China. Millions upon millons of jobs lost there. 25 years ago the Arabs bought up 2.9% of all the most expensive reaestate in the US in al the majo cities using the oil money. Stupid - we pay them tons for oil and they take tose billions and buy up our country. If the average person only knew the truth and the whole truth. The same goes for the mkts.

All I know is it is pretty damnnn pathetic how the short funds can control a co so much just for the simple fact they have the cash to do so. There are no powers to be at this time to out match them dollar for dollar to force them out. Need a strong string of great news for sure. We'll see what the CC produces. I wouldn't expect much and the shorts will do their spin. SNY has to step up as well and give a positive comment. All we can do is take a deepth breath and wait it out. Nothing more an investor can do.

It is easy to blame one person in the white house for the condition of the country but he is not alone in this blame at all. I don't care much for him either but you have to give some of this bad credit to the congress and the house as well. Next president will not fair any better IMO. Have to clean out the house and the senate along with congress. Have to get back to grass roots voting. That is where it will begin. 90% of all elected officials are under the thumb of corporations and this country is run by the large coeporatons. Tha is the way it is and has been for deacades. I don't see any super heroes in the next presidential election either. It always comes down to the lesser of the evils.

Todays news has not gotten around and they are trying their b-tts off to keep this down for accumalation before major breakout. If investors don't see the potential the that is on them. We don't care, we get it.

I don't know how you came up with I am a short - not even close. I am down 60% and as long as I could be. Apparantly you can't read and and understand the meaning.

There are "no" surprises in this Q it was already factored in. No one expected anything different. Missed by one cent would be pretty much in line. The same BS retoric will continue as same here. This Q changes nothing to the sentiment of the shorts. This is alredy pounded to the ground for sure. Cut near in half from a year ago and heavily shorted from this year high of 11.50. That is about all there is to this Q, at this time. Looking ahead is a much different story as things will definetely improve Q to Q. Not an opinion - a fact.

After getting an attack on the pps to drive it down to the all time low a move just back to 17 would not be considered a jump as a first move respectively for one and a move back to 30 would not be considered a jump but a retrace. There are many that have held sonce the mid 20s and are still holding and or adding in these lows. This has to double before and breakout and or jump towards the analysys tgts

Will MannKind survive?: "Yes, it will. The basis for that is Afrezza is a unique product, and I absolutely believe we will see a significant uptick over time. I know from the feedback from patients, they absolutely love the product. The second reason is our [inhaler] is a very unique vehicle; it can deliver more than insulin through a pulmonary route. We have already started developing products that eventually will go into clinical testing." One example could be pain medication, he said.
