They call themselves the Tea Party. They can call themselves conservatives. And they can call themselves Republicans, But we should call them what they are:
"The American Taliban"
- ideological purity
- compromise as weakness
- a fundamental belief in scriptural literalism
- denying science
- unmoved by facts
- undeterred by new information
- a hostile fear of progress
- a demonization of education
- a need to control women's bodies
- severe xenophobia
- tribal mentality
- intolerance of dissent
- pathological hatred of US Government
Fraud, Pole, Don and Muzzzlim are all prime examples.
Weird. Rastas don't drink but Boehner is sponge, I mean a real lush. Holidays should be a blast.
Beach, you really don't get it. I adore political humor. This is the line that offends me the most..."The first contestant to make it back to Dallas alive wins." It implies that Texans would take pleasure in hunting libs for sport, actually killing them. I understand it is a joke, but it is also a narrative into the sick, violent yet somehow Christian gun culture in America and notably Texas. Stop defending hate and violence.
Beach, you claim to be a RINO but you defend HATE like a Texan contard. If only you clowns would inhale with me, we might all get along. But alas, reefer madness still runs rampant in contard world. Sigh.
So what you are saying is that in Texas you have a special kind of contard. In Texas the contards are willing to kill over some words on a bumper sticker and here, a fellow Texan to the author of this nonsense, Polecatt, is glorifying violence and killing because of and caused by rhetoric. It may be a joke to you, Tex, but to the educated liberal it is very telling of the current Texas mindset. What a bunch of knuckle draggers and mouth breathers . The Neanderthals in Texas truly are a special breed of Tard.
GOP Rep: I ‘Absolutely’ Voted To Cut Funding For Embassy Security
By Ben Armbruster on Oct 10, 2012 at 12:20 pm
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT)
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) said today that he voted to cut funding for U.S. embassy security amid political attacks from Republicans that the Obama administration did not do enough to secure the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya that was attacked last month.
Republicans and their allies have been trying to politicize the attack — which killed four Americans, including the U.S. Ambassador to Libya — suggesting, without evidence, the Obama administration may have ignored intelligence that the attack was imminent, didn’t properly secure the Benghazi compound and is now trying to cover it up.
But hidden beneath the GOP campaign is the fact that House Republicans voted to cut nearly $300 million from the U.S. embassy security budget. When asked if he voted to cut the funds this morning on CNN, Chaffetz said, “Absolutely“:
O’BRIEN: Is it true that you voted to cut the funding for embassy security?
CHAFFETZ: Absolutely. Look, we have to make priorities and choices in this country. We have — think about this — 15,000 contractors in Iraq. We have more than 6,000 contractors, private army there for President Obama in Baghdad.
And we’re talking about can we get two dozen or so people into Libya to help protect our forces? When you’re in tough economic times, you have to make difficult choices how to prioritize this.
LIEING?? Your lack of credibility and tact is only superceded by your lack of education. Of course, one would only have to read a few of your posts to know this. By the way, your mother didn't raise you very well, but I hope she had a lovely Mother's day.
Silly beach, of course you don't hear them screaming about it, you aren't listening! Fox isn't admitting it but it's true. Open your ears, eyes and mind. You rant about how well informed you are, but your answers reveal otherwise.
Exactly.
A shared capital of Jerusalem would be ideal. Slivers of land is not a fair deal. And yes , it irks me tremendously that these large Arab countries make make a little room but they have no problem pipelining weapons and cash.
Oh look, the MB reefer madness clown chimes in!! YAY!! Have you hugged your bowling ball today, nut job?
Crickets
Once again, a conservative takes zero responsibility for his/her party's actions. No smoke screen, just the Truth.
Arafat walked away because it wasn't close to being a fair deal. There really is no good answer here, it's like trying to convince the Sons of the Confederacy that they should be room mates with the Black Panthers. There is soooo much history of hate and violence, only God and His gift's can ever hope to achieve forgiveness and love among the many tribes that occupy this land and have fought with each other for 2k years.
ask him this: Why did Congressional Republicans cut Obama's requests for Embassy security by $128 million in 2011 and then $311 million in 2012, and then ignore Hillary Clinton's warnings that the cuts would be "detrimental to America;s National Security".
Don't worry about boos. He is an African American Republican so he obviously has sadism and self loathing issues. It's easier for contards to block the truth than try to understand it. "It is much easier to fool somebody than to convince them they have been fooled." Mark Twain
and you guys won't be happy till the ice caps melt and the US air and water is as bad as Chinas
No doubt, I don't trust Obama as far as I can throw him. What sickens me is the GOP going after Obama like a frenzy of feeding sharks when they still refuse to take responsibility for Iraq. Killing hundreds of thousands of civilians because Saddam "might" have WMD's. Well, we became what we feared he had and killed many innocents and 5k US soldiers. I am willing to play along with an investigation of what happened in Benghazi, but not from the witch hunter GOP with buckets of blood on their hands!!
You knowledge of the situation is slanted from watching American media. Expand your horizons and you will be better informed about the brutality shown by both Israel and Palestine, both of which deserve their own state. I never understood why one of the Arab nations that support Palestine doesn't cough up a little land for them, but it is clear they don' want Israel to exist. As a Christian I support Israels right to exist but I do not support their violent and sociopathic behavior that I have seen on non traditional media. One must give to get and vice versa. I still say lets get the big players together and put em in a room with a block of hash and some lighters and see what happens. Middle East Woodstock love fest!!!
Conservatives on Benghazi (Video)
Bush Secretary of Defense Robert Gates Calls Out Conservatives on Benghazi (Video)
Adam May 12, 201
George W. Bush’s Secretary of Defense came out on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’ to call out Conservatives who have been inferring that the handling of Benghazi was politically motivated. He calls the accusations from the far Right “cartoonish” and debunked the conclusions put forth by noted Conservatives who sit on the House Oversight Committee. Here is some of the transcript (video at bottom):
I think the one place where I might be able to say something useful has to do with some of the talk of the military response. And I listened to the testimony of both Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey, and frankly had I been in the job at the time, I think that my decisions would have been just as theirs were. We don’t have a ready force standing by in the Middle East, despite all the turmoil that’s going on with planes on strip alert, troops ready to deploy at a moment’s notice. And so getting someone there in a timely way would have been very difficult if not impossible.
And frankly I’ve heard, well, why didn’t you just fly a fighter jet over there to scare ‘em with the noise or something. Given the number of surface to air missiles that have disappeared from Qaddafi’s arsenals I would not have approved sending an aircraft, a single aircraft, over Benghazi under those circumstances.
And with respect to sending in Special Forces or a small group of people to try and provide help, based on everything I’ve read people really didn’t know what was going on in Benghazi contemporaneously, and to send some small number of Special Forces or other troops in without knowing what the environment is, without knowing what the threat is, without having any intelligence in terms of what is actually going on on the ground.
