Metals move around scary. Always been that way. I'm looking at $3.90 cash/share and 4.46% divi. If FCX drops any more in price, this thing pays way more than any CD at my local bank. Proven reserves in the ground around the world. Contrary to popular urban legend, gold is not going to zero.
In it's history, since 1994, GME has only been above this general price area for less than two years (2007-08). The financial environment is WAY different than 2007 and frankly, GME's business model is much less "sexy". I wouldn't count on things going back to how they were then. I wouldn't count on the 4% dividend once competition and business get sketchy. Apple is still opening stores. Closing 200 stores is a BAD SIGN. Good luck with your investing and trading and enjoy the short squeeze while it lasts.
For those hoping for a special divi, it ain't gonna happen.
They would have announced it already and it isn't cheap to close 200 stores!!!!!!
Next week retail sales reports should be interesting. Weekly 10ma at $23.38. Wouldn't surprised if we lose 10% by next Tuesday. Long puts. GLTA
I have seen MM's do this type of shake out before huge moves up. The stem cell space is still "young" and by nature will have a lot of consolidation over the years. I doubt competitors enjoy hearing "paradigm shift" in study descriptions.
If we want to just keep it technical, then "what is going on" is a retest of the continuation triangle from Sept. 19th. Price target of $2.10 - $2.25 region. GLTA
Buyers from just this last Tuesday and Wednesday are still WELL in the GREEN. This is still a garden variety shakeout unless we go below $1.05. This stock is going MUCH HIGHER.
Two letters for you - M & A. I'm holding at least till a week from Monday.
Forgot to add that, looking at the weekly chart, GMXR seems to be on a 10-12 week cycle between large range moves (candles). We are about due for a move here. (up or down)
stock, at least for a while. Path of least resistance seems to be positive surprises. Nice short float for such a low price stock, if that happens. Also, mgmt. has a huge incentive to get price over $1. Appreciate any intelligent thoughts.
Here's something that helped me understand LEG. While other stocks have increased 500 or 1,000 percent over the last 2 and a half years, LEG has basically stayed in a range of $18 to $23. Once this pig runs out of accounting shenanigans to paint a rosy picture, I think we sink back below $18. Not a growth story here IMHO.
