Agree.. Out of the 3 you listed, I believe IBM would be the best fit.. IBM is hurting for more growth/revenue.. VMW would be a good start in that direction..
I guess I must be dense.. I don't get why this stock is being sold off once again.. This time due to a possible Dell deal ?? Seems like people are shooting first before even knowing what the details may be; on something that may never happen.. Time for VMW management to use some of that stock buy-back $'s..
Timing of this downgrade really sucked.. I am thinking the stock would have been up a minimum of $5 today.. OH well, hopefully will recover next week..
Santelli is one of the few good guys on CNBC.. Interesting that his comments back ~ 2009 actually was the impetus for the Tea Party..
BTW.. Spent first 50 Years in Chicago area also... LaGrange, Downers Grove.. Now in St Louis area.. And yes, I hate the STL Blues.. I sorely miss my Portillos and Aurelios Pizza..
Its been a long time.. So what has changed..?? This stock continues to deteriorate.. How about using some of those buyback $'s to support the share price for once ?? That too radical an idea?? This has to be one of the most hated stocks..
Who knows??? Iran will probably have nukes before this study is completed..
Normally I would agree, but we have seen the Dems vote in lock step to whatever the current occupant in the White House wants.. I have zero faith in politicians nowadays, and that goes for both parties..
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, GERN is getting creamed again today along with the rest of the biotech sector.. I don't think I've had a worse week of paper losses.. My only salvation is that I don't ever buy on margin.. It's still disgusting though..
No, you missed my point.. I know biotech is a fortress compared to the coal industry and I actually doubled down on my GILD.. But, politicians can do irreparable damage and regulations can influence companies/stock prices.. That all I was saying..
